Stopped here on our way up to Julian. It's pretty much the last stop for food before the drive!This place smelled amazing, it's a take out restaurant but the inside is still cute if ypu decide to eat there, there is also outdoor seating.We got sandwiches this time. They are great prices for the amount you get. I got the Torpedo, I believe it was called. It was delicious! While on vacation and staying at Pechanga RV Resort, we ended up getting take-out twice from Papa's Pizza Grotto. This place is family owned and really cute inside.The pizza was REALLY flavorful and hand tossed. The pastas, marinara and meat sauces were delicious as well.I would recommend calling in orders directly, or walking in for your order and dining in. Food was so good we didn’t get a chance to take a picture!We were pleasantly surprised to have a waitress serving us tonight. As always the food was amazing and the service was great too. The cleanliness is also great!! We had the antipasto salad ? meatball pizza, meatball sandwich ? side meatball and cannoli. I think you get the picture, they have the best meatballs!!
