Love the sushi here and the vibe. It's always friendly and the variety of quality sushi is the best in the Murrieta and Temecula area. The rice, soy and seaweed wrap compliments the sushi. Definitely a place you don't want to miss.

I’m a big fan of sushi, and YouandI sushi is exceptional. It reminds me of the sushi restaurants I used to frequent in Japan. First of all, the fish is as real as the name implies. The fish is fresh, shiny, and tastes just like it should. I can feel the enthusiasm of the young owner-chef who offers real sushi at a reasonable price in the current climate of rising fish prices. The taste of real sushi is superb!!! Thank you for your great services.

After ordering the “specialty” called Screaming Orgasm, I definitely didn’t finish and was left wanting. For something thats description was seared tuna and spicy sauce, what we received was barely any tuna, sliced so thin I could not tell if it had been seared, no spicy sauce, and was basically a salad. When I asked the waiter about it, she was unsure if it was the correct dish and could not explain the deviation from the description. It was a bigger disappointment due to it being the most expensive thing we ordered. The other rolls were really fresh, and enjoyed thoroughly. Unfortunately, the service and specialty dish did not leave us satisfied.

The quality and attention to detail is excellent. The staff and owners are always making you feel like a part of their family. Quality of the fish, sushi rice and seaweed is the best. Even the soy sauce is paired just right. We've been coming here for years and will continue to make this our #1 spot for sushi in the valley.

Great find! Enjoyed the lava stones, but would probably do edamame next time (stones are tasty but a bit heavy). The cilantro was exceptional, the yuzu ponzu sauce was the perfect complement. Used it with the escolar sushi - perfection. The Double D was also excellent. Wish I had room for a spicy tuna handroll! Overall excellent experience all around.

Authentic sushi/sashimi experience. Fish is fresh, good portions, and has amazing customer service. The sushi chefs were happy to recommend different fish. Sushi rice was above the rest, and even the Wasabi was note worthy. Atmoshere was calming. Try it, you will be back!

Hands down the best in the Valley. Period. From the execution to the delivery of well treated sushi. Sat at bar, enjoyed Chef Chris! He was very helpful in explaining tastes and nuances to my wife who's never really been into sushi. This was very appreciated. Chef Chris said omakase dining experience will be started by the end of the month. This is a treat to anyone that knows!Enjoyed the Chris special, blue crab hand roll, toro hand roll and 4 different nigiri selections from Chef Chris. All of these items completely blew our minds! Will be back soon. Will be back often. My chopsticks have found a new home!

Seriously the best sushi spot in the valley. For anyone who knows sushi they know this is the best place Chris has been a gem to this valley. He always puts out a great product and even though he sold the place he is still here working with the new owners to keep the menu perfect. If you had a bad experience give it another try I promise they fixed up a few things and got the recipes and fish quality dialed back in

Updated review, Sept 2023: From five stars to three - We had our first disappointing visit after many excellent ones over the summer. I know they changed ownership, but we were hopeful it would stay the same. The chefs served us improperly rolled rolls (falling apart, seaweed akimbo, and has anyone ever had a hand roll shaped like a forlorn cylinder? Shouldn't the seaweed wrap go all the way around?). What bothered me most was how lukewarm our sushi was - both the cuts of fish, but especially the chopped up spicy tuna & yellowtail fillings. I know whole cuts are sometimes served warmer than cold, but it didn't seem right that the minced fish was warm in what should have been a "cold" roll. The flavors were not balanced and vibrant like they used to be. The servers and front of house staff seemed a little off as well. We didn't even finish our food. We left feeling bummed and went to sleep hoping we'd not wake up in digestive distress. Luckily, we didn't. But sadly, we don't plan to return for a while.
