“The service was top notch, all of our servers were informative about the food and friendly. The atmosphere is dark line and good speakeasy should be with a live instrumental trio, but you could still hold a conversation with your date without yelling. The food was uneven, the starters (buns and tiger prawns) were incredible, the dessert (cookies and cream) was surprisingly full of flavor and delicious. The wagyu steak was good but not melt in your mouth amazing, which is what I want when I get a steak at a restaurant. The pork belly was the most bland item we had, but my husband still enjoyed eating it. Overall a great place for drinks and small bites.”

“We loved this place and it will be a regular rotation spot for us. We had the Chicken Lasagna and the Portobello Marsala Chicken, both were very good, we also had crab cakes which were good. The service was excellent as well and they seem to have a good flow to everything. I've lived in the area for 2 years and tried a few places around and this is definitely the best. I loved that they didn't cram every guest in to tables next to each other and gave us space where they could, more places need need to take note of that.”

They absolutely make up for and taste and quality of ingredients.They only offer one dessert: flan.And that is all they need to offer. The flan was delicious and also of a good size to share.I've been here for meetings with co-workers, a drink at the bar during happy hour, and dinner with friends.This place is great for all occasions. And there's even parking in the back!”

The breakfast burrito was beyond amazing. Parking is super limited the second time we came but lots of room inside with great service.”

“ONE OF MY NEW FAVORITE VEGAN SPOTS IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!! It was located in such a great spot in LA! So many of the other Vegan spots had no dining or where hidden but this one was easy to find, the service was absolutely outstanding and the service was literally one of the best servers I’ve ever had! She was so lit up and full of life, so kind and one of the other servers was also so so kind! It was all Vegan and 100% ALL VEGAN GOLDEN JACKPOT OF GOLD! ? I can’t even emphasize enough how lovely this place was! There was nature inside and out, the presentation of the food was outstanding! They served me a drink in a fresh coconut and it was so so yummy + I got so so full and was so very overjoyed! You’ve got to try the Vegan crispy chicken sandwich it was so soooo yummy!! 15/10 ? “Came here to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were seated in a spacious booth in the back where it was more quiet and cozy. The server was great, she waited on us superbly, and was very nice. The food was amazing, I had their Branzino entree and a watercress-hearts of palm-avocado-Parmesan salad. So tasty! My husband tried their mushroom soup, and one of their chicken entrees. Then they brought a cute lighted birthday cake for him!! It was divine!”

“First time to Sweetsalt! I came to the reopening mainly because Frank Bonventre, former head pastry chef for Wolfgang Puck, the Oscars, and Joan's on Third, is now the new pastry chef!! I was excited...Mr. Bonventre is a legend in Los Angeles and Sweetsalt had become a go to place for breakfast (they serve it with a salad side!!!) and lunch. Gorgeous place...who knew the this old building in Toluca had such great bone!!!??!! Service was great and friendly...and the food...OMG (I had the lettuce cups, flourless chocolate cake, breakfast muffins). It was soooo delicious and reasonably priced... Such a great meeting place. It's a magnet for people of all ages...what a find!!”
