My dish was not as good as the last time I was there. Chicken was not as good. Probably they changed the chef. Even the desserts were not as before. The AC was on too cold, so we had to hurry and eat our desserts and leave.

The food was soooo yummy!!! Compliments to the chefs! The staff is so warm, welcoming & attentive. The ambiance is amazing! Highly recommend. Will definitely return for more. The cherry on top was the coconut flan.

Sadly it was a big miss.... February 14, 2024 was a nightmare on every level. So sorry to report. We wound up across the street at Prosecco Trattoria where it is ran at a professional level.

OH wow! What a hidden gem! The staff is warm, helpful & they welcome you the minute you set foot inside. Impeccably clean, great music, & romantic vibe. The service was amazing & food was served reasonably fast. House made pasta with my dish was so flavorful. I practically licked my plate clean. The server checks up on you. Asks if you have any questions & was super attentive. Not to mention offered a extra glass of wine on the house. The coconut flan dessert was so delicious & yummy!

Service was great, and ambiance fit the menu expectations. Food left so much to be desired for such a highly priced venue. The meat was supposed to be from Argentina but did not have the flavor or texture of Argentina meat. Ribeye ordered medium rare, came more rare/raw and bland. The chimichurri sauce was more oil than parsley and garlic. The appetizer was the frito misto; over fried, which made it tasteless. Entrada came with roasted veggies and mash potatoes. Veggies were so roasted that we couldn't tell what they were because they were black/heavily charred. The potatoes were tasteless, like school cafeteria potatoes. Gnocchi style pasta was bland, like something from a box. Went for a birthday, ordered a flan, and they stuck a candle in it when served but charged us for the desert. I don't recommend it, but if you want to impress someone who is used to low quality meals, this is the place.

This place made it happen on a SLAMMED Valentines Day. Phenomenal steak, our server was such a sweetheart and was putting in 110% tonight (bald, in the back room-im so sorry I didn't catch the name). You guys did the very best tonight and the line out the door is a testament to how delicious your food is! Cannot wait to be back!! :)

NEVER reserve a table on VALENTINE'S DAY here. Knowing the restaurant would be busy on this day. I made my reservation a month in advance. I get there and the line is down the block. I made my way to the front to let the manager know. I was told there were over 30 “ 7:30pm “ reservations for that evening. The lady sitting people was RUDE AF and ended up crying. Why would you take that many reservations for the same time slot, with barely 30 something tables. Many people were upset and walked away as I did. Went across the street and enjoyed a great Italian dinner, with no issues. What's worst is this is one of my favorite places.

First time there. Food was a little pricey but well worth it. Ambience was good but because the place was packed, it was a little loud. Service was good but rushed due to Valentines Day. Also, because of the holiday, the kitchen was a little slow. Our waiter did give us a heads up and we appreciate the communication. We would definitely go back but might choose to visit on a regular weekend.

Well, we can appreciate it was a busy night being Valentine's Day, and the hostess kept her cool the entire time with the onslaught of a massive line of people waiting to get in. Unfortunately, our food was subpar. It was not hot and the chicken my husband ordered was really bad. Sorry we normally like this place and again it was a busy night, but I did expect good food

We were there on Valentine's Day and they horribly overbooked the reservations. They really did a poor job of management of the evening, especially being lied to by the hostess. We were seated 45min after our reservation then waited an hour for our food which was just ok for the price. I would have given a lower review but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that the overbooking was maybe just an outlier for Valentine's Day.

This was my 4th time at Malbec. I like the location (close to where I visit when I come to California) and the food options are great. But this last time I went was on a Feb 14th, but man, the place was super crowded. I think the restaurant staff should prepare better for this kind of dates.

An excellent night out for 2 parents of a toddler who don't normally get out. I believe they overbooked a bit for Valentine's day as there were so many tables it was hard to move around, but I would assume the noise level would be lower and it would be more comfortable to move around on a "normal" night. My husband's steak was delicious and my homemade tortellini was excellent. We'll definitely go back the next time we can find a sitter. :)

Had a meal with my boyfriend and friends at Bodega Malbec, and man, it was good! The place feels warm and welcoming, kinda like eating at a friend's house if your friend was a really good cook. The steak, especially the ribeye, was amazing - so tender and tasty. They put this green sauce on it, chimichurri I think, and it just made everything pop. The folks working there were super helpful, pointing me to this Malbec wine that was just right with the steak. Top-notch stuff. Definitely heading back to Bodega Malbec when I can. Worth a visit for sure!

Fantastic as always. Food and service is spectacular. I love the steaks and wine. Can't go wrong with this menu and ambience.
