“Nice Thai vegan place tucked in a small L-shaped corner mall. We came on a stormy night and this place was packed!! Tells you how popular they are. We ordered the green papaya salad, which came with lots of veggies, some rice noodles with veggie-shrimp (not an oxymoron, BTW, actually pretty tasty), and sushi rolls made with mushrooms. Service was super fast and the food came very fast. Vegans and vegetarians will certainly enjoy their dishes but non-vegans like me are just as impressed by how tasty their food is. Small and cozy place; the table at the inner corner is especially nice and quiet.“
“Casual vegan restaurant with Asian cuisine spanning Thai, Chinese, Japanese and more. Menu is all vegan, and has a lot on it - from fancy sushi rolls, to wings, curries, stir fries, rice bowls, and more. The food we had is what I’d classify as “vegan junk food,” heavily fried and not very healthy, but super tasty. We ordered the hot wings, the orange chicken, and the Tom yum fried rice. The orange chicken was good, sweet and savory. For dessert ordered the mango sticky rice which was ?, really yummy. Got home and needed a nap ?Staff was friendly. Food was good. Definitely wouldn’t be able to eat this sort of food every day but was a nice treat.“
“Spicy, tasty & big portions. All dishes made to order. Cost more than Panda but was much better! Only take out but they had great to-go containers. All staff wore masks & were friendly & helpful in choosing from their large selection of dishes. I suggestspicy shrimp with glass noddles & noodles with vegs Definitely going back to try the curry dishes.“
“Most people are looking for the next big thing when it comes to restaurants. Spoiler alert, this place isn't new! It's been under your radar for decades. Family run. 2 generations and counting. Just go. Simple dining area. Small, 6 tables. I could go on but you'll get bored. Have a great time! Try something you haven't tried before. You'll love it!Vegetarian options: Just leave out the proteinDietary restrictions: VeggieParking: Open lot with day attentionKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: You have space“
“Unique menu with lots of variety, wonderful staff, and sweet atmosphere. You find a table and the order at the counter to have dishes brought to you. The staff is very accommodating for vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free preferences. Some items are marked as such and you can ask for modifications of most dishes when you order. Loved all the drink options, with the choice of adding boba and swapping for non-dairy milk too. I found free street parking on Lucerne. Looking forward to returning.Vegetarian options: Very accommodating for vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free preferences. “It says cash only, but they do accept Zelle payments! Super hole in the wall place with delicious coconut cakes, I've tried the regular ones and the mango sticky rice ones and they're so yummy! They have other types and there's BBQ skewers as well, though I haven't tried them.“
“This is a wonderful place! The service is very friendly and the food is DELICIOUS - super flavorful and unique dishes you can’t find anywhere else. Small parking lot in the strip mall with reserved spots for the restaurant. Will definitely be back & the value for money is excellent. Dine in or take out - you really won’t be disappointed!“
“Came here yesterday for the first time after visiting the Thai market across the street. We had a beef noodle soup and a Thai curry pizza, they were both really great! I think I'll like their marinara sauce pizza more because the onions were a looooot for me. But if you love onions, this is the place!!!The pizza dough and crust was just ? great. Soft, pillowy. Definitely recommended. The beef noodle soup was great too!!! The perfect touch of sweetness and spiciness. Super flavorful. And the folks here were super welcoming and nice! Would definitely recommend this joint!“
“Quaint little restaurant about a mile from Universal Studios. Awesome Thai vegan offerings with wonderful service and atmosphere. Very convenient location to local hotels, as well!Vegetarian options: Good vegan meats. I had the eggplant and tofu, others had curries. Very yummy!“
“We have just discovered this place, it is really appreciable that it is halal and offers great flavors from Chinese and Thai cuisines. Especially try the Mongolian, Chow Mein, and Tom Yum Soup. The staff is friendly and the service is very fast“
“I ordered online and only had an issue with the the tom yom koon the flavor did not taste traditional nor where the ingredients the mushrooms were Bella mushrooms and I did not taste lemon grass. Green curry great, pad Thai pork great chow mein great, overall delicious I was just bummed about the tom yom koon because ingredients listed are traditional but it is not what I received.“
“I've been eating at Lotus Vegan since I became vegan in 2017. Their food is always tasty, portions are large, service is great and the c owners are friendly. Tyrone suggested the Kung Pao Spaghetti the other day and it was fantastic. If I lived closer, I'd probably eat there everyday. Best vegan food in the valley!“
“This is one of my favorite vegan restaurants. It's actually a Thai restaurant and it's so amazing. Start with the soup. It's so delicious and authentically thai. I've never had a bad meal here and it's definitely one of my staples for Los Angeles. Yes, it is completely vegan!Vegetarian options: Menu is all vegan“
“We decided to give this location another try and we were blown away by all of the delicious meals they prepared. The shrimp pad see ew was flavored to perfection. The crab fried right was just right and the spicey fried rice was balanced with the right amount of heat. You can always request the kitchen to turn up or turn down the spice level according to your taste buds. Try the lychee martini, you will thank me later. The service was five-star from the moment we walked in. We were greeted with a warm welcome and our waitress made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our dining experience. The restaurant is small and intimate, perfect for a local date night. We had a great time guys, thank you and we will see you guys again soon.“
“This is our place to go when craving Thai food. We have dined in and picked up our order. The food has always been amazing, just like their service. They always make us feel like family.Parking: There is parking in the back parking lot, but it can get busy as it is shared with other businesses. There is always plenty of free street parking.“
“We ordered, duck laab, beef laab, nam tok, banana leaf fish, beef noodle, sausage, papaya & skewers, they were all so delicious! We were so eager to eat, we didn't even take before photos. The lady taking our order was super nice as well.“
“Second visit amazing food, experience has shown smaller selections typically result in more attention to the items being prepared, White Elephant does not disappoint. Inside the Spring St Arcade, a great calm atmosphere with class. As a neighbor I would recommend to those unsure where to eat in DTLA.“
“We ordered 4 items and one dessert. The seafood items ( glass noodles shrimp salad, and basil shrimp with rice) were very tasty. So tasty, we will go back for more one of these fine days. The service wasn't that wonderful; the woman was a bit abrupt but after tasting the food, we decided we can put up with the "attitude" as the food tasted that good. My daughter says the dessert was delicious!Hoping the food quality remains, will update next time.“
“I ordered a chicken pad Thai and a Thai tea and my food was great! The person serving us was sweet and the ambiance is cute it felt like being a a studio set for a show from the 90s I think it's the wood paneling ? Either way if you're around the silver lake echo park area and are looking for Thai food with parking then I'd definitely check this place out !“
“Can’t express how delicious the food is here without just giving you a bite. The food is amazing, the staff is nothing but kind and compassionate. The food comes out really quickly, and they have a wide array of vegetarian and vegan options. Please come here if you’re craving Thai food in Burbank. Can’t recommend this place enough.Vegetarian options: I’m vegetarian and I felt that the menu was catered to both meat eaters and plant eaters.“
“Just ordered from here for the first time! The area seemed a little sketchy - but they have their own parking lot (it's a ghost kitchen) and the pickup was fairly easy! The staff working there was soooo nice and kind. And the most important part: the food was really freaking good. Probably the best Tom yum soup I've had in a long time. SO MUCH FLAVOR. My new to go Thai spot for sure!! I also ordered some noodles on the side to put in the soup and it had fried garlic on top - YUM. Can't wait to go back :) love that they're open late too!“
“Flavorful and spicy. This meal rocked my world. Great vegetarian options on the menu. We went with drunken noodles with tofu and yellow curry with tofu. Both were fantastic. Service was fast and portions were generous. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: The menu says they can make almost any dish vegetarian. Some of the soups only had a chicken broth base (as far as we could tell).“
“10/10 everything! This was my first time coming here and I ordered pad Thai with shrimp and chicken, edamame, curry udon medium spice, and the beef salad medium spice. Everything was so flavorful! The service there was amazing honestly! they were all so friendly and welcoming. They even congratulated me on my promotion and clapped for me with the other customers who heard I got a promotion lol. 10/10 experience! I will be back soon. The food is VERY affordable. Anytime someone ask me for food recommendations I will be sending them straight here. I ate my food so fast I forgot to take pictures lol Thank you so much PAD THAI ON BEVERLY! -princess“
“Pad Thai: taking off one star for this. They have a tamarind-based sauce, but the overall flavor and prep were totally lacking. Dry as a bone, stuck together, and flavorless. Pretty much just tastes like tamarind paste. Skip it.Beef and broccoli: very tasty, good garlicky flavorIced mint tea: almost flavorless. Would not reorder.Service: fast and excellent“
“My beef noodle spot for a couple of years now. I have to visit once a week if possible and I'm in Long Beach and have yet to find a better place in sevetal years! Highly recommended and their other food is amazing as well. I just can't get over how good the soup is so that's what I get every time now. It might seem like a strange location but don't let that stop you and you can thank me later. Enjoy“
“I've been coming here for 17+ years... this food feels like home. The owner makes me feel at home every time. I've come here feeling a bit under the weather and she took care of me and gave me some delicious soup! And I was cured instantly! She's got magic in her restaurant!!! Thank you for everything!!!“
“Feeling like a trip to Thailand? Take a tuk tuk to this tiny treasure in Burbank. The quiet part of Hollywood way offers home cooked goodness. All the noodles are supple and the rice is fragrant. The soft eggplant is spicy and soft on my pallet which is good because I had a tooth pulled this week and needed to go easy on my mouth. The fresh herbs zing in my mouth. The crispy fried wonton flowers are creamy and sweet. Hurry and come get this curry.I like to hit Portos after for an extra dessert treat if the mango sticky rice is out if season.“
“I loved it here. My mom who is super picky, still raves about it. We will be back for sure but im not a fan of dogs being able to come in. There is even a pick that shows a dog on the table (uughh). I love dogs and have one myself but i keep him home when i dine out.“
“The food was absolutely amazing! Everyone at the party loved the food. The meat was super Tender and juicy. All the salads and bread was delicious. I’m so impressed with their service. I wish I took pictures of the presentation before we ate all the food.“
“This evening was amazing with Rad Na with very softest pork marinaded in front of the silom market! They are here for a while their dishes reminded me of the real Thai street style food in Thailand. You can order many more dishes here such as Pad thai , Pad Siew wok perfectly and many more. Tables are on the side of the street just to make sure you have time to wait to get seated a little. I would really come here more often. Most of the dishes are only 10 dollarsThey are more than just an Asian super market now. Lately I’ve heard that they just started to open Karaoke Upstairs I would definitely come and try for next timeDefinitely recommended 100 percent“
“We saw Dek Sen’s post on @sanfernandovalleyeats , so we looked them up.Dek Sen’s is an interesting name, we were told it means favorite person in Thai☺️We were reluctant to order kimchi fried rice at a Thai restaurant but so glad we did. It was amazing!!! It’s not a typical Korean kimchi fried rice. It has garlicky and tangy flavors. The runny egg yolk blended well with the rice.We also got cream cheese crab Rangoon, fried dumplings and veggie egg rolls. LOVED their sweet and sour dipping sauce. We asked for extra to bring home.Very casual, fast and friendly service. You order and pay at the counter. They don’t speak much English but they are very accommodating. We are super happy to find another restaurant close by that we love. Will definitely go back for more!“
“A nice, family owned Thai restaurant with good prices and massive portions. This is a great place to go if you’re waiting for your appointment at SDI across the street. I had the pad thai without egg to make it vegan and they happily accommodated. Will come back again.“
“Excellent atmosphere. A nice small place. Felt very homey with friendly service. We ordered the Tom Yum noodle soup and pineapple fried rice. The flavors were authentic and rich. We’ve been to many Thai restaurants before but this was on a different level! Definitely recommend this place!“
“Really great pad see ew and good service. The soft drinks have free refills and come in huge glasses so that's a plus as well. The restaurant was quiet and the tables were a bit close together, so that wasn't ideal, but overall def worth it for the great food.“
“Heng Heng Chicken Rice is a hidden gem known for its exquisite Hainanese Chicken and fragrant Garlic Rice. The tender, succulent chicken paired with aromatic garlic-infused rice creates a harmonious blend of flavors that delights the palate. With a friendly staff and a cozy ambiance, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of authentic Hainanese cuisine.“
“My fav Thai noodle spot in LA quaint and unassuming. Located in the retail strip between arbys and bronson studios. Very tastey authentic thai/laos style dishes. You can't go wrong adding crispy pork to some of the dishes where that's an option. Thank you for the wonderful food, and friendly/attentive service.“
“We love this place. The food captures the mystery and flavors of eastern spices. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly. It’s a bit off the walking areas, but the location is at the confluence of busy streets and the 101 so it’s easy to get to the strip center location. Parking is easy.“
“Always a quick stop for high quality food for a cheap price. Very friendly service and delicious and affordable options. A great choice for lunch or dinner on any night. My go-to is chicken teriyaki but Korean BBQ beef short ribs and Thai BBQ chicken are great options too.“
“Service was a little slow for having 3 tables in the whole building. The food was really good. We ordered some drunken noodles and 2 pad see ew. They were delicious. I asked for a 7 spice level. Boy, did it have me sweating. Even though it was spicy I couldn't stop eating.“
“I feel sorry for those who fawn over arbitrary hype lists put out by mainstream media. They are missing out on the best (in L.A.) holy trinity of Isaan cuisine - fried chickin (lions mane), papaya salad, sticky rice. The portions are on the dainty side but reasonably priced.Service and vibe are excellent.Easily accessible by Big Blue Bus. Please BYO containers for take out.“
“This "whole in the wall" is actually very popular. It's small, but that doesn't take away from the vibe. I think this is probably the only place where I'd order boat noodles. The flavor is out of this world. Nothing else like it. Love trying new things and this one does not disappoint. The pad see ew is always a classic dish I like to order. This one was good. Hard to go wrong with pad see ew chicken. The waiter and owner are amazing. Nothing better than being greeted by a friendly face. Very helpful, checking in on us, and happy to see us. That's half the experience so this place gets a gold star. Love it and will be going back soon. Prices are very reasonable as well. Try the boar noodles!“
“I ordered delivery here for the first time and I was blown away!! I can't believe I haven't tried it sooner, and I know I'll be getting it regularly now lolI ordered the coconut shrimp, pad see ew and panang curry. All were absolutely delicious but the panang curry was perfect!! I ended up mixing it with the noodles and it was just so good I can't say enough good things about it some of my favorite curry I've had out here in La!!“
“Wonderful as always. Was waited by Pani, who I know from both LA and Studio City locations. Hadn't seen her in a couple of years, and the moment she met me as I came through the door, I was reminded of what a warm and gracious hostess she has always been. Plus, the fairly priced vegie soup was as warm and wonderfully filled with my fave orange, white, and green delectable that I fondly remember that keep me coming back for more!Vegetarian options: PlentyParking: Large shared lot“
“My last stop before coming to the SFV was OC. The competition for Asian cuisine is top level. So dining experiences were seldom disappointing when recommended. The dearth of cultural food spots was evident for me in the SFV. This place is so wonderful that I would hesitate to recommend it for fear that it would get too busy and I would regret that I would have to wait for a table! I enjoyed every aspect of this tiny hole in the wall place. Located in a nondescript corner mall it shares a parking lot with several other eating establishments. This eatery is FANTASTIC! No frills, friendly, clean and delicious and with a fan base that is shown by a wall of photo contributions of loyal patrons, this place provides excellent service, delicious authentic Thai cuisine from appetizers to dessert it is well worth the effort to brave the mean streets and find parking. I even went as far as taking the rail from the red line to get there.Vegetarian options: It's all very delicious“
“we dined in here last week. the pad thai was excellent…as well as the fried rice and pumpkin curry.the beef pepper sauce wasn’t very good.the place was clean and nice. good parking space also.the staff was just bout okay..i like it so much i passed by again yesterday for a pick up order.i made a mistake of ordering fried rice (vegetable). it’s too “veggie” for me but may not be an issue for others.“
“Very much enjoyed the food and experience here. Small quaint place with charm and authenticity. I had the vegan pad Thai which was well prepared, and the tofu and vegan chicken were tasty and nicely incorporated. Would love to try the curries next time.“
“This is the Thai SPOT, amazing food with well developed flavors and a large menu to come back again and again. The service was super fast, and super kind. We were in a rush for a flight and the waiter made sure everything we needed came super quick. It was everything you could want!“
“Wow. What a surprise. Walking up to a motel Thai restaurant . But The yellow curry was outstanding. The crispy duck spring roll and the pad Thai . So good. Medium spice tickled the tongue didn't make you sweat . Definitely coming back .“
“A cozy spot with outdoor seating options. Had the best Tom yum soup in LA so far at this place!! It is full of flavor yet not too salty or oily, and it is clean. After dining here, I craved their Thai food for an entire week. All my friends live their food too!“
“Absolutely delicious the flavors were on point and serve hot for a pickup togo order. We order everything gluten free other than my main dish for the night and my wife and I were amazed on how delicious this was. My wife sweared up and down no way this is gluten free because how delicious and well flavors were. Definitely a safe spot for gluten free. The service was very easy and fast, plenty of parking out front and pickup table was easy. Inside they had nice relaxing music tables to dine in made it seem nice and homey. Will definitely be back the portions are great they don't skimp out. Thank you for your hard work there.“
