I went to Nozomi today for early dinner on recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. Hands down the best sushi in the South Bay and even in the LA area. We had their "Omakase." Food quality was second to none not only the sushi but the appetizer and desserts were oishii too! The service was fantastic, friendly and attentive staff. Will defintely return.
Great sushi and sashimi! For something unique, order the tuna rib. Never had tuna rib roasted after you scrape most of the tuna meat off the bones. It's spectacular! My only complaint is the price. It's pushing the high end and I find myself questioning the value proposition.

Great local sushi restaurant. Very old school feel to it, as it has been around for many years. Most of the customers are usually Japanese, so that's a good sign. The best way to experience this place is to do the omakase, which is $80 and much less than most places in LA. Very good sushi for the price. The oysters are also a must.
