I visit this unique place once a month as I enjoy the special atmosphere that is characterizes this place. The personel is extraordianrillyremarkably loyal and experienced. The service is pretty quick. Needless to say, the food they serve is great. I visited many times and I was always delighted. The cost is decent. I suggest this place to to all.

First impressions mean so much. This place didn't let us down. We tried the Sunday brunch on 2/16/20 and it was fabulous! Will definitely go back again. The food was delicious and great quality. I was very impressed but what blew me away was the service. I asked the guy at the prime rib carving station a basic question which led to a discussion about how the food is prepared and what the offerings are. He walked me around the buffet pointing out the selections and answered any questions I had. I really appreciated that special extra touch. Our server was very friendly and attentive. He kept the refills coming. Next time I want to sit outside on the balcony overlooking the lovely grounds. On a nice day I think the view would be very nice.

Enjoyed a Friday night out with some friends here. Bar service was pretty good and the man game was where we spent the majority of our time at. Wasn't too crowded and area was pretty clean.

This place was a wonderful treat. I have to admit, after reading some of the other reviews I was a little reluctant to try it again after not having been here for a couple of years. I am so glad I did. We came for the Sunday Brunch. Of course the setting and the view are spectacular. We were very fortunate to come on a beautiful fall day. We sat out on the veranda. The food was all outstanding. There were all kinds of choices (omelette, carving station with very tender prime rib, a stir fry station, large selection of cheeses, cold meats, nuts, dried fruits, several kinds of salads, sushi, fabulous large shrimp, salmon, peppered lox, pastries, eggs Benedict, bacon, sausage, two kinds of potatoes, several types of desserts, etc, etc). Everything I had was very nicely prepared and tasted fresh and delicious. The service was excellent, courteous and prompt. I could not have asked for a more lovely Sunday Brunch experience. We will definitely be back soon.

OH...MY...GOD! I am now totally convinced that the management/owners of this place are doing EVERYTHING they can to shut this place down. Just two weeks ago I was congratulating them on finally starting to get their s*** together and begin making the changes that would allow Agave to realize its potential in becoming one of the hottest restaurants in an area that is longing for another decent restaurant with amazing ambiance, incredible views and a staff beyond compare. I even raised my star rating for them... Now they completely gut their menu to feature their new extremely limited "Tapas Inspired" menu featuring Brie wheels with apricots and eggplant with goat cheese??? Oh, and fish...lots of fish. WTF??? Does any one actually eat Brie wheels and apricots? My apologies if I have offended any of you gastronomes, but, common, Brie wheels and apricots? Really??? Yea Chef Bob or Paul or whatever. Don't worry other decent area restaurant guys (Villa Terazza, Casa Nuova, and yes even Cocoa's, etc.) although these folks have THE most beautiful and stunning location in the area on their hands and one of the best wait staffs I have ever encountered anywhere in the world, you guys are safe . At least until they get this right. Their only saving grace is Taco Tuesday! But I am pretty sure that management/owners will be going for that next because thats their busiest day and they seem to be doing their best to clear out all those pesky customers. Look, you guys have one of the most beautiful restaurant locations next to: (per your own advertising) "one top 30 best new courses worldwide and one of the top ten best new public/resort courses in the US", and you can't get the restaurant aspect of this business model right??? What the hell is wrong with you? Don't you have to report to a board of directors or at least a bunch of drunk guys running around in golf carts somewhere?? Business 101 states very clearly that you have to spend money to make money. You have to provide quality product with an excellent selection at a reasonable price, coupled with the best location possible and knowledgeable, friendly staff. So far, you have all but two of those aspects locked down. The rest ain't rocket science. Find a consultant, find a real chef, ask your neighbors what they think or give me a call anytime. As a resident of this area since my childhood, I find that the truly sad part of all this is that this place is LOVED by a lot of people. READ YOUR REVIEWS!!! Those same people would patronize this place regularly if any of the management/owner team would take some actual interest in Agave. I would love to see management/owners pull their heads out of the dark cave and get their act together. But, hey...I am just an interested regular customer who would love to see this place flourish. Especially considering the amazing and talented staff that work so hard for you guys. Seems like you might owe that to them if nothing else. The Agave Bar and Grill: Even their restrooms are nice!
