I've been going to AJ's for the last 10 years. It is my go to cafe in Turlock. Its nice that they have a senior menu. Their pancakes are good and they also make these crepe like Swedish pancakes. Try one of their large biscuits! I have no complaints.

I've been here for breakfast and it was good, not great. Returned for lunch and the chicken tasted frozen and the fruit bowl was bitter as if it had been stored for a long time. The fruit pieces all tasted the same. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, which was quite a nice recovery.

If I could give no star, I would. The customer service used to be so kind. Now, incredibly rude people for no reason.(cayden gave so many dirty looks for what?) Served me a salad with rotten lettuce, served a sandwich with old and nasty avocado. Chicken tasted like rubber. So I told them, they dug through the Plate searching for chicken,so I had to also dig in the plate and show them. Unbelievable and unexpected. Disrespectful.

Very traditional American Diner. It's one of those places we'd always drive by and had never tried until last night! All the food is so simple and so delicious. Nothing was over seamed or under seasoned, it all felt *just right* if you know what I mean.Very kind staff, would most certainly come here again!

VERY busy, absolutely packed for breakfast/lunch, but the food was fast and by the way, the biscuits are HUGE so a half order goes a long way!
