Passed by this spot on Lander many times and finally decided to give it a try. Would definitely recommend for the authentic food and good prices. The chilaquiles are delicious! They offer red or green sauce, tried the green, and it was the perfect amount of spice. The cotija added made the chilaquiles some of the best ive had in town, also on the beans as well. Loved the potatoes and Pico that came with it. A good amount of indoor dining with two TVs and a jukebox for entertainment. The employees are all friendly. The restaurant is very clean. Lots of seafood options! overall, I plan to come back soon!

The food was good. The shrimp cocktail was nice and cold. However, it could use some more shrimp.

So I have come here at least five times before submitting a review because a single visit does not give a true assessment of the restuarant, overall. We have tried a multitude of items from the menu over the course of our visits here is the overall summary: Food service - 70% better than good Crispy taco- 90%better than good Shrimp cocktail- 70% good Fajitas- 85% better than good Fried fish- too greasy for my liking, but we ate it all. Tortillas- THE BOMB Michilada negra models- 100% better than good Chips and salsa-so/so Guacamole- better than good/pricey for amount Shrimp enchiladas- no beuno Anywho- I love the vibe overall and am learning what to order. I play the jukebox, drink beer, and eat pretty good food. Bathrooms have been clean

Best Mexican restaurant in Turlock. This is the most authentic food I found yet. Tortillas both flour and corn are on point.

Ok friends... here is the ride. The Good: Nope, nothing. Not one thing to report here! Not even the service. The Bad: It's the food. It's bad. It's so spicy and the flavors are so old/off, you can't eat it. The flavors are waaaaay off! The Birria was so fatty and the goat flavor was ... oh my cheeses.... I understand the flavor of goat, I've had it many times, but lawd! It's like it sat out for a few days before the cooking process began. The beans were off with a strong baking soda flavor. The rice was the only edible thing. Fish taco. It was a lettuce/Pico de gallo taco with a strong fish flavor. There was a small strip of fish that... well let's just say you could taste the bottom of the river. Hard pass. The Texas taco was supposed to be homemade chorizo. It was actually ok. That's all I have to say about that. The Ugly: Ok the Wet burrito. I ordered shrimp for the meat choice. It showed up about 20-30 minutes after everything else. I cut it in half ready to see the shrimp. As you see in the photo, I was highly disappointed. There was probably 5-10 shrimp chopped up and scattered throughout. The green sauce was so super spicy, after about five bites you couldn't taste anything anymore. And let's not talk about later that evening ... oh no no no. The service... we walked in and tried to find anyone who worked there. After 10 minutes, we just sat down at the closest table. Another 20 minutes before someone asked if we wanted drinks. Yes, it was just like that. No, hello welcome, no communication of any kind, just chips dropped on the table and "what do you want to drink". When I said water, no ice please, it wasn't what they wanted to hear. It's natural to ask questions about the menu and food for a first time visit. We did tell her it was our first time there. When asked how the birria was, even the server said "I don't like it". HA should of took the hint, but nooooo. Hubby still wants to try it. We finished, and found someone for the check instead of waiting forever. The total was $40.99. So hubby went to pay. I overheard him saying, you need to fix this. I turned around and found out she had picked up someone else's ticket, even after hubby handed her ours, and charged our card over $75! How do you mess that up? He handed you our ticket! It was refunded, hasn't hit the bank yet though. Then they rerun the card without apology and even charged a 3% service fee. This place is a HARD PASS. One and done! Not recommended. On my list of the lowest 3 in Turlock!

The chicken enchiladas were pretty spicy, when I asked if they were hot I was told no. The food had good flavor other than that. Service was ok.

A quaint little MX restaurant de mariscos (seafood). Really great prices. Lots of food for the price. Definitely will be returning. I had the fried fish plate - fried whole tilapia. SOOOO GOOD! ❤️?
