Was able to swoop in a little bit after lunch and was able to get seated fairly quickly. Overall a decent vibe for a family friendly style restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, country potatoes, scrambled eggs with a biscuit. The food was nice and hot, and when I asked for additional gravy they gave me a good bowl of hot gravy which I really appreciated. This is one of our places we enjoy eating before we go grocery shopping, shopping hungry is never a good idea! The food is always amazing, with a home cooked feel and always plenty extra to take home making it a great value! The service is great. Ambiance is quiet, yet family oriented. A good place to take a date for breakfast.

The food and service here is decent. I remember loving the beignets a long time ago and this time I was not nearly as impressed. They're not bad, but something about them wasn't what I was expecting. They seemed too soggy. But I've never had beignets from anywhere else, so maybe that's how they're supposed to be. Anyway I don't have any big complaints, I just wasn't particularly impressed. I would still go back, but it's not a top pick in the area for me.
