There were multiple issues during our visit today, one of which I wasn't going to comment on but upon seeing other reviews with this same issue I feel obligated to mention it. Not only were the hash browns on both meals burnt, but the waitress was rude and we felt like we, the only two Latinos in the restaurant, were being treated differently than the other patrons that were white. When the waitress came to greet us she had a deadpan look on her face and immediately asked what we wanted, no greeting or smile or "Happy New Year." We noticed when she greeted her other tables of white patrons she had a much different demeanor, she was smiling and joking and wasn't acting how she treated us at all. Every time she came to our table she was short, had no emotion on her face, and made us feel as if we were a bother to her. We didn't eat the burnt hash browns and didn't feel comfortable sending them back due to her attitude. Like I said, I wasn't going to bring up the racial issue, but because I see other reviews with the same concern I felt like I needed to say something. When you're a person of color you can feel when someone is treating you differently because of the color of your skin and we definitely felt that at this restaurant.

The whole restaurant kinda smelled like egg and it was a little overwhelming. We got to seat ourselves and our waitress came over with our drinks, a coffee and a water, then got our order. I had a burger and it was okay and so were the fries and my husband had the burger patty and eggs with tater tots. The tots were good and crisp but the rest was alright. We shared a banana pecan waffle and that was also very tasty. I don't think I would go out of my way to come back but if you find yourself near I would stop by.

This place used to be the go-to breakfast place for huge servings at reasonable prices.I haven't been in years, just because none of the locations are convenient anymore, but it definitely is not what it used to be, not that most places are, but still had much higher expectations. Especially for the price - for my husband, myself, and our daughter, who is a year in a half, our bill was around 60$.For breakfast?! I didn't want or need potatoes plus biscuits and gravy, I got offered fruit, which I should have said no to because half of it was inedible. The strawberries were moldy, and the pineapple was bitter, like it had started to ferment. My husband had the linguiça omelet and said it wasn't bad, but he probably wouldn't order it again. I got chicken fried steak, and it was definitely a lot smaller than I expected it to be.On top of alllll that, the place wasn't busy by any stretch, and the waitress kept walking behind our daughter and bumping into the highchair, there was plenty of space to go around our table on either direction, but they just kept walking behind her with food and the full coffee pot?it made both my husband and I very uncomfortable.

It's disheartening that I have to leave such a negative review for a local diner that I was growing to like. This is my second time coming and this time I came with my family. We were seated by the hostess and we received our drinks. Soon after two parties came (one group within 5 minutes and the other 10) and both received their drinks. We should have had our orders taken first as we were ready. But both parties had their orders taken before us. What was the difference? Both parties were white and we are a part of color. Maybe it was a predisposed bias as the waitress was also white. Regardless, I've never received such a blatant racial experience at an eatery. We stood up attempting to pay our full coffees, and the waitress not apologetic and said in a tone "you don't have to pay it" Will not be returning to such an unwelcoming establishment.

We've been here before as we passed through town. The food and service is amazing. It's too late to show you a photo because we ate it all ready The waffles are delicious and they offer a side order as an option too do you can enjoy another great menu item AND indulge in a waffle too. You won't be disappointed. It's a good thing we live far away.... We would be here every day
