Seriously, this is one of the best places in the 209 area code... I've eaten here a number of times and the food is always good. I like that it is freshly prepared. I like that the food isn't fried. At the counter, you can see into the kitchen and it all looks very clean. There are fresh flowers on the tables. There is no loud music or televisions playing, which is part of the appeal for me because I'm often eating with someone who has trouble hearing, and we can enjoy a conversation. The servers are attentive and seem like nice people. I've also taken the food to go and the same generous portions show up in the to-go containers. I hope you'll give it a try.Parking: I don't mess with the parking right in front of the restaurant. I park in the spaces to the east of the restaurant. It's always easy to find spots there.

The warm feeling you get from this family owned and operated little hidden gem is outstanding. I’ve been here a few times and the mother-daughter-son trio is pretty special. They get so excited when you return and come up to you with such enthusiasm. It’s a great feeling just walking in, let alone the amazing food made from scratch.When I say made from scratch, I’m talking everything! All the appetizers, the yogurt, the hummus, even the baklava is all handmade in house. There isn’t anything on the menu that isn’t made from scratch. Even the sugar cubes are made from scratch. Their kabobs are above and beyond! I recommend the Chicken Combo and the Beef Soltani that has the beef barg with koobideh.After just a few visits I feel like I’ve known these people for years. They take care of you like your family.

One of the best Assyrian we've had with one of the best service from any restaurant. Our server, Sami, was very kind to have us try various types of hummus which expanded our minds to other flavors. Thank you Sami for the great service and allowing us to try the great flavors of each dish, Baklava and tea. We tried chicken, beef and lamb and all were very flavorful and melted in our mouths. We came from Lathrop and was worth the drive. We definitely would come back. Great job Patogh!!!
