Our new choice/fave for sushi rolls! Just started coming back to this place a few months ago. Service has always been outstanding! If you're unsure of what to order just ask and they will happily make suggestions. We have never been steered wrong. Their spicy garlic edamame is BOMB.COM!! My boys devour that edamame! Sushi rolls are soooo good! Cannot say enough good things about this place!

WOW factor here. A bit small but very neat & clean place. A lot of stuff to see while having a beer. Then the sushi roll arrives. I know I wasn't starving but I ate the whole thing. Every bite as good as the first. Staff friendly & attentative. Didn't wait long for anything. Highly recommend, even for take out which is how I normally have sushi.
What a hidden gem! After our favorite sushi place abruptly closed in Merced, we have been on the search for a comprable place - meaning good cuts for sashimi and rolls that were more adventurous than your standard fare, on the lighter healthier side and not so big you can barely eat them. We found the reviews here and decided to go for a pre-Thanksgiving family tradition of sushi the night prior.It reminded me a lot of little sushi places down in LA in strip malls, dark windows do you don't quite know what delight might be waiting for you. Well, we were not disappointed!! Adorably adorned with a little sushi bar counter and a nice open chef's kitchen. Lots of beer choices though I had a wonderful fresh brewed very hot Japanese tea served in a small stone carafe. The sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimi selections are vast and they have assorted other Japanese dishes too. The sashimi are generous portions and extremely fresh. The three rolls we shared were absolutely delish... they even have their own secret spicy tuna mix that was amazing! The staff and chef, kitchen were so friendly and welcoming to boot. Our waiter did an excellent job of walking us through the menu for what we had in mind on healthier options. The added little bonus of the yellow tail that they ran out of but gave us what they had on the side! We'll definitely be back and start working our way through the second column of the menu!! Thank you! I was enjoying the food so much I forgot snaps.. next time!!

Beautifully decorated with the utmost detail, quick and friendly service, and the food was incredible. Most definitely recommend, and will absolutely go back.

We've searched for a place that makes really good caterpillar rolls and found this one! Loved them our baby boy swallowed 1 roll while waiting for something elegant.
