I haven't gave a 5 star straight to anything. Sad to say in my 40 years I never went to Black Bear Diner, since yesterday with my dad in Turlock, than we went agian and in lodi...to my surprise the food was beyond delicious and the customer service was top notch. I was surprised. Very mych happy with our food and service and atmosphere.I found my go to place for breakfast and lunch.

Food was sub par. Party of 4 for breakfast. One meal was late and cold my pancakes were not done..mushy and another's potatoes were barely cooked. Highly disappointed since we have eaten here and others before. Server was polite, courteous and apologetic. Said manager would reduce bill by 10% but it wasn't.For the price I just want a tasty hot meal.

Every time we have been here to have lunch, we have been very lucky that we don't have a wait. Customer service is also always great! They also have the Cutest Pajama for Sets, Slippers, mugs, and other items. Pies are amazing as well!
