food is fine. handmade tortillas are nice. carnitas pretty good. chile relleno pretty good. just a depressing place to eat. quiet except for the constant door chime going off every minute, no music, just a drag. for me, i dont like the food enough to take away, and its way to depressing to come back and try other things.
Masa Alert: Heavy lime content (Feb. 2023). I love this little place and the people. It's not fancy, but the atmosphere is bright and cheery, which in itself, is worth a huge amount. You can go just to have a beverage or snack, and no one will rush you back out the door. The unhurried, gracious, and mild-mannered host is a hallmark of Sonoran life. My first time ordering from there a little disappointed they got my order wrong.On the receipt it was correct when I got home was wrong.Quesadilla was al pastor my pupusa was wrong I order chicharrón and they made it Al pastor. Did not taste like pupusa with the chunks of Al pastor meat. It tastes like a gordita Al pastor.Check your order before you leave the restaurant.
