2024/02/05What a Gem. What an absolute Gem of a place! I came to LA early Feb during the rainy flood storm in SoCal, and was introduced to an amazing corner fast food joint. I even asked if they had a souvenir shirt but they didnt have any, so i kept my fountain drink cup with the logo instead.I got the Pastrami Reuben Sandwich which was excellent. It was my first time here but won't be my last! It was poppin on a Friday night so I had to wait about 5 minutes for a table at around 5:45 (no big deal). Everyone was so sweet. I was waiting for my friends and they kept asking if I needed anything while I waited. The menu is HUGE and a tad overwhelming. I finally decided on a cheeseburger and my daughter got French toast with eggs. The food was good and so cheap! It was $15 for our meal (both items). This place is great! The decor is kitschy but cool. Although the staff occasionally forgets an order, they handle the high volume of customers well. They seem understaffed and could benefit from more space. Our burgers were delicious!
