Fernando, chef and pizza master at Fernanda's, continues to makes a great NY style pizza. Nicely charred undercarriage with a thin crust, but not too thin, that remains chewy even after 20 minutes or more. Tomato sauce and mozzarella can't be better. Very little grease on top. Deck oven. Large cheese slices; $2.50 plus tax each. The crust doesn't have that initial minor crunch on the first bite as the best ny pizzas have, but it is close. Excellent as usual. Quick & friendly. Order was early. High quality & D-licious! I highly recommend Fernanda's versus the cookie cutter pizza chains. Pizza made with care & love!
My favorite pizza in Los Angeles County. The crust is just right and so is the price. Even before COVID, it didn't have a lot to offer from a dine in perspective but if you're carrying out or getting delivery, Fernanda's is a solid choice.
