“Absolutely worth the money.I got dragon roll and baked salmon. Both were good as expected but baked salmon roll was especially delicious. The service was done on time and the lady manager was more than friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is great too - nice music, cozy sits and ambient light wanna make you come back. I paid $30 total. Good and affordable sushi spot for a date or to meet with friends. Highly recommended for people who like Japanese cuisine ?“
“Found this little simple place on Yelp. Really enjoyed our eat in dinner. So many choices. I had the chicken teriyaki bento. Hubble had chicken bowl. Came with miso soup, if you eat in. The chicken was really excellently prepared in both dishes. I would have liked more sauce but was too lazy to ask. The tempura was truly delicious. Generous portions of everything. I even saved my entire california roll for lunch the next day. Surprisingly, it was prolly the best I have ever had! The hostess was delightful and made us feel like we were her guests at home. Afterwards, the cutest little lady chef came out and had the biggest smile when we complimented her on her great cooking! We don't get this way often, but will unquestionably return when we do.“
“Really wish we came here sooner, we've had so much bad food in Burbank/Glendale, I think that's made us very jaded... But this place is AMAZING. 10/10 FRIENDLY SERVICE SUPER YUMMY BASIC FOOD. They're not going all out making complicated dishes, they just make the basics extremely well for a solid price!!!“
“My go-to place for food at Anime Expo and other anime events. I always enjoy their katsu curry sandwich. The chicken cutlet has a nice balance of crispy and juiciness and goes well with the curry. They sometimes also have other items as well, such as the yanki burger and curry rice, that are just as delicious and filling as the sandwich. Recently, at AX Chibi 2023, I tried out the okonomiyaki fries since Okamoto Kitchen was out of the katsu curry sandwich. It is like chili fries except the fries are topped with okonomiyaki toppings such as ginger, JP style mayonnaise, and okonomiyaki sauce. The okonomiyaki fries are now of my new favorites from this place. It has a delightful balance of sweet and savory. The fries were also crispy and weren't soggy. If you're at an event like Anime Expo, I recommend visiting Okamoto Kitchen before or after lunchtime/dinnertime because the lines become long, and you will have to wait a while. One important tip is that during Anime Expo and other events like it, they only accept credit and debit cards. Be prepared for that. Furthermore, if there is an item that you absolutely want, I recommend visiting the booth ASAP as some popular food items like the Katsu Curry sandwich sell out by the end of the day.“
“Jo & Go is one of the best kept secrets for fast, affordable sushi in the Valley. It's located inside the Korean market Greenland. Nothing fancy, take-out only. The sushi rolls are big, and the bowls even more so. I recommend the salmon bowl if you just want salmon sashimi over rice. You get a lot of salmon. If I want something lighter, I get the hwedupbap bowl, which is essentially a sashimi salad. It comes with a side of white rice, gochuchang sauce, and miso soup. For rolls, I like the Dragon Roll and Rainbow Roll. This is the perfect place to pick up lunch or dinner on your way home. Call ahead to place your order, and food is ready in 10-15min. Cash/credit card accepted. The place is run by a very friendly Korean couple. I just wish they were open later (they close at 7:30pm).“
“THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!AVACADO TERIYAKI BURGER WAS PHENOMENAL!!!! Every bite of burger had avocado not like other places where they put 2 pieces on it. It was loaded. If you drive past here daily like I used to, do yourself a favor and stop in. Your tastebuds will thank you!!!!“
“I come to Ying Hana at least 3 times a month, one of my favorite things to eat. That being said, the food is just decent. I always order the chicken hibachi plate. You get a huge togo box worth of food for a very good price. Completely worth it. The vegetables served are fresh and cooked just how I like them. The chicken is ok. At times dry, depending on the amount of sauce used. The rice is grainy, while I prefer sticky... but the VALUE IS GREAT. I can overlook these issues because I am full and it cost about half as much as other hibachi places. Thank you Ying Hana for being there when I am hungry, you are truly a goto place.“
“We are self recognized sushi snobs and this is our new go to place. They have rolls similar to what we find at Got Sushi in Northridge but for a better price. The quality is right up there with other top notch places. The service is on point. It's a small place so just one waitress when we've gone, but she is always on top of everything and the food comes out of the open kitchen quickly.“
