My wife from Northern Peru and I have tried so many of these restaurants in Southern California, but this seems to be the best and most authentic we have found. The owner's mother is from Piura (near my wife's hometown of Chiclayo) and she immediately recognized the care and special seasoning that went into the outstanding anticuchos (with several types of dipping sauce) and pescado frito (lightly breaded fried fish) that was done to perfection. I went to this Peruvian place three years ago, today I went, what a disappointment, all the charm, the food was good but the restaurant is not good for eating, it lacks cleanliness, the bathroom was all dirty, there was no soap for the hands, the toilet was dirty, everything was dirty, it was a Disgusting, I would say that it is better to buy takeaway because the food is good, it depends on the cook, I think they are not the same owners, what a disappointment, I will not go back...read full review
