During pandemic lockdown I discover Chef Funke's "American Sfoglino." I ordered the cookbook, the matterello, etc. and got to work trying to make his hand made pasta. Finally got to experience his homemade pasta last night at "Felix" in Venice, CA. It was everything we'd expected... authentic Italian pastas & pizzas, layered with regional flavors passionately prepared. This was literally the best meal and experience that I have had in California. If I could eat here every single night without getting fat and going broke, I would. My server was incredible. The food was 10000/10. I had the roasted carrots, uni pasta, the ribeye cap, and some sort of white pesto pasta. I will be dreaming about this meal until further notice. Thank you Felix!
