“We visited Aloha twice during our visit, but each experience was very different. The first time the food and service were incredible! However the second time we had to send make 3 dishes for being cooked incorrectly, we had to repeatedly chase drinks orders. Aloha is a great spot, but depending on the night and servers, you may have very different experiences.“
“While on vacation with my husband and daughter in Oxnard, we were looking for a place for dinner on Monday evening. This was an absolutely amazing choice and recommend to anyone. My daughter has a restrictive diet due to allergies and being a vegan and they made her a special pasta. When our server learned that it was her birthday recently, he brought out a surprise dessert, and a candle so we could sing to her since we couldn’t be here for her 21st birthday. My husband said his fillet was the best steak he had ever had, and believe me we’ve been to many high-end steakhouses. All I can say is: GO NOW!“
“WAIT TIME HORRIBLE even WITH A RESERVATION. We made a reservation. We called ahead in to say we would be 16-17 min late. The receptionist said it was no problem they would save the table We arrived as expected. We were told we would have to wait. No table was available. We waited 15 minutes. We asked receptionist what time we would get table, she asked the manager. The manager told us their was no table available. I complained .I said it would not make sense to make a reservation if the establishment could not keep a reservation . I had asked for a table in my notes in the reservation. I had asked for a table when I arrived to Black Angus. After waiting again, They created a table . There was no lights on above our table or the next table over. We didn't get silverware or bread. We waited again for a server. We waited agin for our appetizers. Our meal and appetizers came at the same time. Drinks were slow. Food was average. We asked for silverware after getting our food. The server was very good but very busy.“
“Really good food I felt like they skip over our table the first 3x for some reason and the server she can’t take a joke ....well the bathroom are clean for the men and the manager was nice atmosphere needs a little bit more color ….I say this is well worth the experience of all you can eat too sirloin “
“First of all, great food! I did not dress in super nice clothes, but everyone was friendly and the service was great. Definitely a great place to go anytime, and especially if you are dressed up and ready to seize the day. I was there on a slow night, so plenty of tables, no wait, and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed the experience. I was on travel in the Oxnard area, and I plan to add Larsen's to the list of places I need to visit again. Thank you!Parking: Park behind the restaurant. Plenty of open spots, short walk. Street parking in front is difficult to secure.“
“What an awesome meal, on Saturday. I've been before, to The one in Ventura. The atmosphere was old School. Saw a big room where the bar is situated. We're seated promptly. The food prices were fair. Ordered rack of lamb and Tournado fillet. The sourdough bread was great. Caesar salad was very good! The plate had plenty of food, and the quality was easily tasted! The baked potato and veggies were a positive! The server, unfortunately I didn't catch her name, but she wore a Bolo tie (stringy rope tie) w a horse on it. Long straight hair, with a semi raspy voice. Mild sarcasm that was welcomed! This place reminded me of back when The Hungry Hunter and Alexander's (both in Ventura) were the lalces to go for a fine dining meal! The Bernaisse sauce hit the spot, as well! The manager, I believe was Asian, did check on us, to see if he could be of service. My left overs were thoroughly enjoyed the next day. The lamb was also, top Notch!I'm glad I cam here. The draw was a promotion that I had available. I'm glad I came! The taste on my Palate, is lasting and would easily return for another meal!Thank you very much!!!“
“We had a party of 11 last night for my husband's birthday dinner. We were seated within 15 minutes or so, didn't wait long at all. They had 3 tables together which accommodated all of us comfortably, & we could all see each other around the tables, was great for conversation! Our good friends brought a cake for the birthday celebration, which the servers took to the restaurants refrigerator for us. The staff brought out dessert plates & forks as well as extra napkins as well (nice!). Everyone seemed happy with their food, but I did learn later one of my sons said his steak was a bit tough in spots. My daughter-in-laws parents ordered 2 blooming onions (thank you!) for the tables, which were delicious. We had a great time, w/ excellent service. Many thanks to the staff! ?Parking: Parking was decent, good sized lot“
“Went here for dinner, in my opinion, it's kinda overpriced. just a steak by itself is $50 and doesn't come with any sides. Sides are added on for about $10 each. Now the food was good, I had the shrimp risotto, my partner had a rib eye steak al a carte, also ordered the balsamic carrots, which were also delicious. The menu was just a little confusing. They offer a 4 course meal which i think had a set price, but then some of the items had prices next to them so i wasnt sure if we'd pay the extra price for the items they offered in the 4 course?? Our waitress was so nice, however, once we recieved our food we didn't see her again until we were ready to leave, apparently the owners stopped in and they were all chit chatting, even when we flagged her down mid conversation for our to go boxes she went back to talking to them. She did apologize and said those were the owners, so I know she was just trying to be a good employee by listening to their stories, but come on now owners, don't distract your wait staff from the paying customers. The vibe was nice, loved the music they were playing.“
