This place is a perfect fit for Locke. It's unique, rough around the edges, very friendly, with a dark bar in front, dollar bills on the ceiling, lots of memorabilia from days gone by in the walls, floors just a bit tilted. Small well lit dining room in the back with picnic tables. Clean tiny bathroom with creaky doors. Sometimes crowded, sometimes hardly anyone there. I suspect a lot of weekend folks come here after a day of hiking at the Consumnes reserve, or exploring the Delta....read full review
I had the best steak and mushrooms that I've had in years and years. I love the atmosphere because it's an old place. I remember all the dollars that they put on the ceiling. I had not been there in 40 years. I will be back Sandy

Funky old dive that's been around for decades. I remember going with my parents in the 70s. Great burger. Garlic fries were loaded with garlic. If you want peanut butter for your garlic bread or steak, you have to ask for it now.
