Alma's River Cafe

The food was as good as ordering food from a really nice restaurant in the city. The quality was worth it. Tasted better than than the worth of the price. Recommend coming here more often than going to a bar. The people are friendly and nice.

Been here before for breakfast pre-shutdown times to satisfactory experiences. Nothing to write Yelp about but food and service definitely decent, especially with little or no competition in the area. (nice little drive south of Sac to get away for a little bit on weekends) Come our first post-shutdown visit, the place was quiet but the two people there were pleasant and friendly enough. This is the only place i go when I want biscuits and sausage gravy (they actually make it from scratch). Only 2 people runnin the show this morning. I had breakfast with 2 friends(I didn't have biscuits and gravy, thank goodness) so it took a little while, but the food was worth the wait. I always have a large glass of milk with my meal,however, I will never make that mistake again. ........ Medium will be the choice. I swear the large was 32oz's.....maybe even 64 oz's???.
