I can see why this became the it-girl spot in LA. I consider myself an it-girl and loved the environment. Service a little trash but 5 stars because of the basketball shootaround game when I needed a break from my food.
This place is great! My friend lost her bag and Morgan was soooo beyond helpful in finding it for us. She was so understanding and friendly, and within the chaos of customers she found it. So great!

We were in the area late on Thursday night, so we decided to stop by Barney's Beanery at around 10:30pm. I've been to the location in Santa Monica many times, but I'd always wanted to check out the original historic location. You seat yourself at whatever table you can find, and it was pretty packed but we didn't have trouble finding a table. People were sitting and leaving tables constantly throughout the night so I don't imagine you would ever have to wait too long on a Thursday...read full review
