“I was on a date shake tour. This was the first and by far the best. I kept comparing all others the theirs, they paled in comparison. I considered changing our travel plans to get back for another!”

“Great service. Helpful staff. I lost tire pressure while driving on the interstate so I stopped here to pump air in my tires. The pump did not have a gauge and I did not have a tire pressure gauge. I proceeded to find an employee to assist me with finding one. The manager recommended an $18 tire pressure gauge which I purchased. I asked for assistance and he sent a cashier to help me with checking my tire pressure and my car's rear tire was at 20psi and pumped to the recommended 36psi. The facilities were clean and the rest stop was well staffed and stocked.”

“I think it's outrageous that the pizza sizes have seemed to diminish but for $6.80 it's worth it. I'm only saying that it's better then going to loves where it's more expensive. “This place is such a cute little hidden gem. The staff was so friendly, and made conversation. they started us with chips and salsa which was really good. I came with my dad he ordered the weekly soup which happens to be ambondigas the meat didn't taste right, maybe it wasn't as fresh. But the broth and everything else was good. I ordered the flautas they came outs so good, no complaints. I think the only complaint would be the presentation, but overall pretty good.”

“I used to attend Cabela's restaurant quite a bit, great customer service, great food, they make you feel right at home, but just recently I attended our class reunion there and the young lady working the bar was kind of slow but she got the hang of it, other than that it was a great time. Management and staff are great and friendly even with all the hustle and bustle, management takes the time to accommodate for local business and is knowledgeable. “I’m always looking for good local cooking. I manage a rural restaurant and bar with amazing fresh food and homemade dinner specials nightly (Johnson’s landing cafe and bar Salton city ca) and this is now my place now in town. Daily specials like they’r their tri tip and chicken plate for $12 omg. Can’t be beat. Burritos so fresh perfectly rolled easy to eat and just delightful. Great tortillas and good carne. Have great respect that they support or supported the local schools till the end of the restaurant business as we know now. Thank Covid. Please frequent this establishment they are a family business, easy to miss on the Google maps but look for the little sign in front on K st. Let’s keep our family of local food stops alive. Respect the fact that they work. Don’t collect unemployment and keep there doors open and still put out amazing food and way too low prices as far as I’m concerned. A must go place and even take out was amazing after it sat for an hour in my car.”

“Cleanest gas station bathroom I've ever been to! Not much else to say. I'm a germaphobe and this bathroom hits the spot. Plenty of parking and great selection of snacks. There is a Wendy's and Dunkin Donuts inside. The manager (I didn't get his name) was friendly, funny, and polite. Highly recommend!”
