First time at Woodbridge Crossing for an anniversary dinner & we will never be back. As someone who enjoys fine dining & supporting local restaurants it's hard to not return. I love going to Odd Fellows, Pietro's, Prime Table etc. and finally gave Woodbridge Crossing a chance as it came highly recommended.I ordered the bacon wrapped filet mignon & asked for it to be cooked to medium. When my first filet arrived it looked like it had already been hacked apart (poor cut of meat, possibly the end piece of the tenderloin) which was quite disappointing considering the price of this meal. Upon cutting into the steak it was blue rare & inedible. After waiting 5 minutes for our waitress to check on us, she instantly saw how rare the cut was & took it off my plate. After a few minutes she returned with the same piece of meat in a pile on a plate. Normally I would be ok with getting the same cut of meat back, but this time it was overcooked & burnt. She took the plate & said she'd get the chef to remake a new one, which would take a bit longer. About 5 minutes later the chef came out, he told me "if you had just cut into it you would've seen it was medium, but I will make you a new one". I found this a bit rude as I was not complaining & was very understanding. However, the cut of meat that I was served was not worth the price I was paying & wanted something I could enjoy. Finally after 15 minutes (my partner was finished eating by this point) my filet came out. This one did look much better, however it was a thin cut filet so I don't know why it took over 20 minutes to cook, especially since it was still rare. At this point I was starving as we were over an hour into our time there & I only had a slice of bread. I tried to salvage what I could, but it was very chewy & still inedible. The waitress returned & I told her how disappointed I was with the meal. She offered a free dessert, which we politely declined as we had dessert at home. She took my half eaten plate away as I was not going to force myself to eat rare meat. I figured a manager would be by, but instead a runner was sent with the bill, $172 for our meal & I hardly touched mine. To say I am highly disappointed is an understatement, for an establishment like this I expected better service & a good meal.

This bar & grill makes up a fair portion of the entertainment in this sleepy town near Stockton. The food was relatively expensive but good. Friendly atmosphere with tables and a bar.

We were a big party but even taking that into consideration the service was very slow. Food was expensive but good. Nothing special about the atmosphere but nothing bad either.

My only complaint is this restaurant needs new and better chairs. Our chairs were wobbly and my bottom cushion was always coming off when I need to get up or move.

I've been coming to this place since way back when it was called the feed-in fuel probably been here at least 30 to 40 times and every time I always get the same thing the blackened prime rib can't go wrong it is amazing. The drinks are really good also the Long Island iced teas and Tokyo teas are very good and they make a killer Manhattan and they have the best fried calamari for an appetizer I've had anywhere you can also get that blackened which I recommend. She always says it's incredible

I'm always looking for a fresh place with good food, good service, friendly staff and good vibes....this is it! I'm now I guess a regular although many who frequent this establishment have been doing so much longer than I. The wait staff and bar staff are very upbeat, fun and knowledgeable too. Plenty of parking and a very historic building surrounding this absolute Gem of an establishment. I recommend Happy hour to meet up with your friends and family. I'm new in town and this place makes me feel like I grew up here. You are going to love it.
