“FANTASTIC pizza place. Pizza is as NY as you can get without actually being in NY. Service is EVEN BETTER! My pizza ended up overcooked. Instead of just fobbing it off onto me, the owner brought it out, showed it to me and asked if I want it or if I'd like another. He made me another and still offered me the other pie to take home. Truly unique experience for a pizza shop as busy as this one. These guys obviously care about making delicious pizza...and that's a rare thing nowadays. So go experience it for yourself.“
“I requested on my booking and in person from the hostess not to be seated next to the door. It's always drafty and uncomfortable, yet we have been sitting next to the door. Also, the tables have been side ways - what makes the space between the party far away from each other. We came only 6 people and I couldn't make a conversation past my son who set next to me. Other than that, Kevin our waiter was great and food was delicious as always.“
“Best sandwiches in town. Hands down. Great selection. Great people. Great local spot. The prosciutto sub on crusty roll is my go to. Or the meatball sub. Or the Ruben. Or a panini. Can't go wrong! I'm here at least once a week. Thanks guys!“
“Definitely a solid Italian place, and has great ambiance. They give free appetizers which is nice, and the bread and olive oil is tasty as well. My spaghetti bolognese was bit salty to my disappointment, but I liked my husband's carbonara a lot. It's a very tight space so I recommend getting a reservation ahead of time. Parking is difficult too, but there's some easy spots on ventura blvd.“
“Omg!We missed you in Santa Barbara, I had to come here from Santa Barbara via UCLA Medical Center returning home. All-day procedure - Fasting. I was hungry not having food for over 16 hours. One thing is that the pizza was the right size. I took home 3 pieces. Then the dessert, pumpkin pie was the best I ever had!I got us a lasagna for the next day.Lasagna was dinner tonight.Amazing, Lasagna!Thank you!“

“This is my absolute favorite pizza place the service and food is great as far as the atmosphere I've never been in the place personally we only order food to go but as I've said the food to go is fantastic every time it's been fresh and delicious and we've ordered from them many “
“Pretty darned good. Nothing to write home about but it's fine. My workplace has had pizza/salad from there a few times in the past and what can I say - it's edible, it tastes adequate. My preference for pizza has always been New York style above all else. Not many places in California have what is served in New York, save for a few crass imitators perhaps. I also grew up on Round Table Pizza, which I still eat regularly; their crust and sauce are unequalled. Anyhow, as I say, Ameci's is good. Just nothing overly special. Price is competitive, no complaints on that, costs of food have skyrocketed over the past 8-9 years and paying more to eat out or have a catered event is the norm.“
“Per my toddlers, "Mommy, it's so yummy pizza." Good local pizza. It's better than Domino's. The sandwiches are decent, too. Have not tried the pasta. Wish they had calamari fritti. There are very few tables inside for dine in. Best for take out or delivery.Parking: There's free parking behind the building, otherwise there's paid street parking.“

“We love Pitfire, and this location especially. Out love story with Pitfire started when we lived in Burbank and discovered their NoHo location - so lovely! We were super excited when we saw they were opening in Topanga village!!! Why I love them - the food is great with a lot of options, good wine, great cocktails. My favorite is their farmer's market plate that is a combination of seasonal veggies. Salads are always fresh and creative. The ambience is very friendly. The noise and music level was much higher when they just opened, but they adjusted that as well. Also patios are quieter. The only problem (which they also seem to be working on) is busy dinner time on the weekend... first you wait in line to order, then your pizza might take 20-30 mins to come out, and you also need to wait for a table. We once had some of our food items ready before we were able to secure a table.“
“Getting worse and worse every day. The Dj they had for 14 + years quit, that’s why this place was popular to begin with for its every night karaoke. The food used to be great now everything is too salty. And tonight is raining and they decided to close the back door from their own parking lot, so people have to go all the way around in the pouring rain. Which it doesn’t make sense. It’s very sad and a bit disappointing.“
“This location has many of the olden New York restaurants feel with warm lighting and although there is a lot of seating it still manages to provide intimate vibes of smaller restaurants. The staff is well trained, attentive, efficient and up to the task of handling many requests from multiple tables. The chef actually came to our table and offered options for one of our guests that was only able to have vegan meals, the menu did not have readily available options but he took care to provide option for her. The menu options are typical Italia n and very well made. A very good choice to have dinner for two or twenty. Mangia bene.“
