We've been ordering takeout from here for years and had been very happy with it. In the past year the bun that my husband always orders sometimes comes with an egg roll and other times it doesn't. The menu says: "Choice of: chicken, pork, or beef. Served with a pork egg roll, rice noodles, lettuce, cucumber," etc.I finally called tonight to say that we don't always get the egg roll, as was the case tonight. While I've only eaten there once, Black Pepper seems like a solid pho restaurant.I had the large combo pho and was pleased with the amount of meat in the dish. Particularly the tripe, there were some nice big pieces which I love. The meatballs were cut up, which may or may not be to your style. Ordered carry out, the young staff seemed more interested in flirting with each other than customer service. The boy couldn’t walk right due to his sagging pants with underwear hanging out. Both he and the female host didn’t check my order and of course it wasn’t correct. I’ll be double checking in the future because customer service isn’t a priority here.
