“The best sushi in Boulder. I guarantee. The green mochi with strawberry in the center was one of the best desserts i think I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The service was super nice, and the atmosphere was top?, highly recommend going out to dinner here. They deserve all the attention! On a fall night their service and the miso soup warmed my heart and my soul!!!Thanks for the amazing food sushi chefs, I never thought I would be so stunned by fish this far from an ocean!“
“I got the Loch Ness roll and the mile high tofu- my sister got a Philly roll. When I tell you the service and food were top tier! I don’t live in Boulder, so the staff being so aware and accommodating of vegan diets was so refreshing. Any question I had was answered with confidence and I didn’t feel like I had to worry if something wasn’t vegan. The tofu was honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Everything was very well seasoned and packed a flavor punch. I’ll definitely be coming back!“
“I almost don't want to write a positive review of this place because I love it so much and I want it to stay a hidden gem! Their lunch special is unbeatable for anywhere but is especially a good value on the hill. The food is always very fresh, delcious, and affordable. The staff is super friendly and food comes out really fast. This is the perfect lunch stop near CU and it is always quiet and lowkey. Highly recommended.“
“Was visiting from Los Angeles city. The best thing about this place was the service! The staff was extremely friendly and had great recommendations. Overall the food was good but the dessert was the better. I'd come back here for the experience again. Jack the sushi chef is dope!! Remy our waitress was great too!!“
“Damn good food truck. Had the Korean Fried Chicken Poke Bowl, Dumplings, Takyo Yaki, and Seaweed Salad. Everything was great. The Takyo Yaki popped nicely in the mouth, the seaweed salad wasn't overly seasoned. Wife loved the Dumplings. Definitely would recommend the food truck service.“
“My friend and I went on a Tuesday around 4pm. We were the only two in there. Pricy but food was delicious! $14 for 6 sushi rolls. Great service. Very clean and tidy. Has a nice view of the mountains. Perfect spot to stop while shopping at Pearl Street Mall. Had indoor and outdoor space.“
“Title: The Great Wall of MayoSo, I embarked on a culinary journey at Motomaki, and little did I know it would turn into the Great Wall of Mayo! My bowl arrived looking like it had just survived a mayo storm – I half-expected to see a tiny mayo lifeboat floating in there. But hold your horses because here's the twist – the moment I spilled the mayo beans (literally), the staff transformed! Apologies rained down faster than a mayo downpour, and they whisked away my overly mayoed creation, promising a mayo-balanced masterpiece in return. The customer service at Motomaki was great – they handled the mayo mayhem professional and with fast responses.“
“Hubby really enjoyed our meals here after a day of sightseeing. This is a family-run restaurant with friendly staff and food made by family from scratch in the kitchen. We loved the cozy atmosphere and delicious food. Everything was seasoned well and delivered fresh and piping hot to our table. If we were locals, Fugi would quickly become one of our favorite go-to restaurants!“
“The food was exceptional and the service was great. Our server was very kind and attentive and paid no mind to our busy toddler. Our meals came out very fast, which we greatly appreciated. Given food prices these days, sushi is a rare luxury for us and we expected a hefty bill. We got about 3-4 rolls, a couple Nigiri items, and a couple adult beverages - with tip it came to about $120. But all of the food tasted fresh and the sushi was plated and presented beautifully. This place will be at the top of our list in our next sushi outing.Parking: We parked in the garage as there was no street parking, but fortunately it was Sunday so we didn't need to pay.Kid-friendliness: Staff was kind and mindful of our toddler. They provided a booster seat and gave us a place to store our stroller.“
“Spent time on a study abroad in Japan and after coming back I was desperate to find some of the comfort food I had over there. The only Japanese place that I have eaten at in Colorado to date that provides a truly authentic menu has been Osaka's. Okonomiyaki is a rare treat in the states and I love every bit of what they serve. I can without a doubt say that this is the best Japanese restaurant that I have been to outside of Japan.Prices are a little high, but that is par for the course for Boulder.I try to eat here every time I find myself in Boulder.“
