“Glad I listened to other reviewers, great place for quick delicious authentic Mexican food with generous portions. I had the birria plate(was more of a bowl) and a lot of their salsa. Feels good to support a small biz and eat healthy food. Was slow while 5guys was busy..soI’m spreading the word.“
“Solid spot to grab tacos in downtown Boulder. Had to wait a little while to be seated, but it was a Friday night and the restaurant is situated on the main drag, so it was to be expected. Ordered the large trio (guac, red and green salsa, large round chips) to share. Guac was good and zesty, red and green salsa were spicy but in different ways (red was thicker, green was lighter), and the round chips were fun to break apart. Ordered four tacos: the Baja fish, glazed pork belly, roasted duck, and slow roasted pork. I'd recommend ordering at least three tacos, because there are on the smaller size. You could easily put one down in two bites. I liked the sweet glaze and crispiness of the pork belly, the light fry of the Baja fish, and the juiciness of the slow roasted pork. I forgot what the roasted duck tasted like. If you're looking for a hip spot to grab some tacos in Boulder, bartaco is worth checking out.“
“I am over the moon! Finally!!! An incredible Mexican restaurant in Boulder. Being born and raised in Mexico, I often crave and miss the artisan, masterpieces that is the authentic taste of Mexico, and Masa y Agave hit it out of the ballpark. Their moles are exquisite, their masas are PERFECT. And their homemade ice cream is probably the best treat I've had in ages. Everything is seasoned just right. I am so impressed and so grateful to have cuisine like this in Boulder.“
“This family owned and operated restaurant is a must visit. The food is so tasty and flavorful. Using organic corn, they hand make their own masa. It really pays of in the flavor or their tacos, gorditas, and quesadillas. The veggies are locally sourced. The meat is roasted and cooked to perfection. The prices are also very affordable! At the time of this review, they did not have their liquor license, but we were allowed to bring in our own beer, which we brought in from a local brewery. The goal is to have margaritas and more once they get their license. I highly recommend this place, for lunch or dinner, for a date or for the family. I will be sure to return. *No photos of food because we ate it too fast, but it was super yummy! We tried the chips and guacamole, the burrito with barbacoa, and and combination plate. Even the rice and beans sides were delicious!“
“AMAZING! Jaime and his wife catered my wedding for 175+ people! Jaime was SO easy to work with and responded really quickly. Everyone was raving about the food and said this was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. Hands down so happy that I went with Dos Manos! I could not recommend him and his wife more!“
“The ginger bartender Nick is absolutely fantastic. first priority is customers and makes exquisite drinks. Recommend going on his shifts. Cashier is awesome! The two managers, Damara and Russ are fantastic and keep the environment friendly! Awesome “
“The wait staff and food as phenomenal! We loved the happy hour street tacos and the avocado and tomato version of guacamole was amazing. We also got a salsa trio and everything was just yummy and plenty of vegan options for me, and my daughter loved the chicken happy hour street tacos and said best she ever had!“
“Never been to this place.Every time I drive by there is a long line.Tells me the food is great.I’m posting a picture of a churro my granddaughter made for a school project. ?️It has not been photo shopped. It just came out this way. ?️Plus her holding the churros she made.“
“YESSSSSS. Probably the most authentic tacos in Boulder. Love the regular meat (asada, al pastor, etc) tacos as well as the fish/shrimp taco, which are absolutely PACKED for just $3 ?. Torta mixta is amazing as well, and absolutely massive. Tried some agua frescas too and all we’ve tried have been great so far. Awesome value for the money and super friendly and quick service — will definitely be back!!“
“My experience at Santos was mixed. The ambiance was lovely, and the mini queso frito was absolutely delicious. However, the rest of the food was good, but the flavors were overpowering, making it difficult to enjoy. Despite this, Santos is a nice Mexican place, especially during happy hour, with plenty of options to choose from“
“Food is excellent, large portions, good prices. Fresh lime drink is killer, and fresh tortillas and chips - everything made in-house. Like most restaurants these days, there is a rotating staff, most of whom are very good - management has been immediately responsive and helpful in the rare cases where there has been a “
“We dined here tonight, and every single bite was delicious. Our server Allison was helpful and fast. What a gem! We ordered: chips and salsa (each of the three salsas were delicious), fried broccoli, carrots and jicama, wild fries, tacos, tostada, and the chile relleno. I'm a major relleno fan, and this was one of the best I've ever had. The textures and tastes were just delightful. I couldn't drum up a single complaint. As others have noted, the flour tortillas were fantastic.“
“I come here a lot, the food is incredible, authentic, affordable and quick. The asada fries are my personal favorite. Highly recommend!I come here a lot, the food is amazing, authentic, affordable and fast. The roasted fries are my favorite. “This place is always excellent. Carnitas are always good and the rice and beans very well done. Never had anything here that wasn't exceptional. Service is great. Staff is very nice. Salsa bar is a big plus. Ambiance is nice. Always worth stopping.“
“Very well decorated restaurant. Very attentive staff and affordable prices. The flautas were perfect, the outside crunchy and the meat was so tender for both the beef and chicken. Be sure to try the Pina Colada Margarita! The absolutely best margarita I’ve ever “
“Pica's is a regular, go-to place for me. Atmosphere is fast casual, but the outdoor patio is great most of the year. Service is primarily self-serve, but employees are friendly and helpful. My favorite dishes are the carne asada wet burrito and the duck tacos.“
“Solid place for some good food. It’s always hard to find good places to eat at during lent, but this one delivers.I had the nachos with no protein to start. I usually don’t like beans but opted for the black beans and I’m glad I did. Decent flavor and the cheese was melted just right. That with their salsa was good.Had the crispy fish tacos and they hit the spot. I really like how they crisp up the cheese on the taco and the flavor of the slaw was good. I added some salsa on top and it was perfect. My buddy had the 1988 burrito and a pastor taco. Flavor was great on the pastor taco. Flavor on the burrito was good but he felt the price to burrito size fell short. Would have liked a bigger burrito.Overall solid place. I really like the atmosphere and the place was clean. Good customer service and food came out quick.Vegetarian options: You can get the tacos or nachos with no protein and beans instead“
“The rellenos special was one of the better meals I've consumed in my 8 years in Boulder. I've been here a handful of times and the food has been consistent, the service great, and the energy unpretentious. Vanessa took great care of me. This will be a staple in my quiver of Boulder recommendations.“
