“This restaurant has the best pizza I have ever had in my life!!!! You HAVE to get the pizza called “the goat” it was SO good and had fun and unique toppings. The atmosphere is very fun and quirky! I would return here every time I’m in Colorado!“
“best pizza place in Boulder HANDS DOWN! I live pretty far away but I will travel to come here any day of the week. The service is quick and kind and the pizza selections are outta this world. I am a vegetarian and the options are wonderful (cheese, pesto, white sauce, veggie) and my fiancé eats meat and loves the angry Hawaiian. PLSSS go here I'm begging you, you won't regret it“
“Carelli's has delicious food and a warm atmosphere. The restaurant bar is always busy. It has an upscale appeal with a reasonable price point. The staff are always friendly. There is a gas fireplace in the middle of the restaurant and on cold nights it is so AWESOME! It will be freezing outside and you walk in to the smells of cooking garlic and olive oil, friendly smiles, and yummy food. The service is prompt but never overbearing. As a business owner myself, I was surprised to learn that all the managers take turns working in the kitchen. I found this out because I wanted to say hello to one of them and assumed he was in the kitchen because they were short staffed, when in fact, it is standard operating procedure for them to ensure quality and for the manager to understand what other employees might be experiencing. I am sure this also leads to better quality and relationships in the restaurant. I love it!I have frequented this restaurant for over twenty years and will always give Carelli's five stars.Erin Pass“
“A big thanks to Backcountry Pizza for hosting 14er Boulder's holiday party.Thank you all so much for a wonderful evening of celebration, great food, and impeccable service! If you have not been to BCP, get it on your list. You won't be disappointed!“
“went in last night. wanted to try out the new place. SO GOOD! also, incredibly friendly staff and owner. he even gave my kid a pizza delivery stuffed animal to take home. woke up today literally wanting to go back. will be back often. glad you're in boulder!“
“Wow. This place was amazing. They have a simple menu but everything is perfection. We had the burrata, winter pizza, Brussel sprouts, and carrots. The flavors were just so good on everything including the veggie dishes! Would definitely come back.“
“We came in the other night. I think it was Wednesday of last week with a big group family of seven I think. They seated us immediately and this young crew just absolutely killed it. They took care of our every need immediately and we’re just awesome with your culture the whole time. Everything was absolutely fabulous! I got the most expensive thing on the menu. I think it was the steak and asparagus. It was out of control. I also ate mussels, and like 12 pieces of bread I think I almost died afterwards seriously I haven’t been at full in like 15 years. These kids did an absolute fantastic job of taking care of our family, and I personally thank them.“
“This is my new favorite pizza place in Boulder. Not only is their pizza flavorful and mouthwatering , their customer service is top notch. Also, I tried their chicken wings were scrumptious as well. Their delivery drivers are also are friendly and prompt.“
“This place is worthy of being recognized as something truly special. Whoever owns this place is essentially sharing simple Italian truths that go beyond most peoples comprehension. You probably can’t buy better pizza than this in the united states.Kid-friendliness: Even the best restaurants can drop the ball when it comes to satisfying children. This place however sets the bar with a cheese pizza that will leave you wondering how something so simple can be done so much better than you’re used to.“
“Our favorite pizza here is the Green Mountain. The ricotta and olives combined with cheese and basil creates a well rounded pizza with a sourdough like thin crust. The garlic roll, while the bread is good, doesn't have nearly anywhere enough garlic in it unfortunately.I highly advocate getting the meatball grinder! Disgustingly good amount of mozzarella and hefty, well seasoned meatballs with a soft roll that still remains delightfully chewy makes for a killer combo. The wings aren't their specialty so i would skip those.Boulder Italian was not bad, but hard to beat their pizza over everything else!“
“The Bartender RG serves a great drink! He’s very friendly. Brickstones is a Very chill atmosphere and has good snacks. I’ve never been here before, but I will be back for happy hour every night of my stay. I recommend! Go see RG! ??“
“Amazing Pies. The crunch on these are truly delicious. We had a feast. 6 pies in total and they were all absolutely delicious. We had 3 and then immediately ordered 3 more. It was 9 of us so we were hungry. Lots of options at Avanti but all we wanted was more of that delicious crunch. The ambiance at this location was one for the books. So festive and very family friendly. Absolutely loved the view from the rooftop. Must see if you're in Boulder for the Holidays. Don't forget to get a salad for the pizza topper. It's a thing and it's delicious.“
“This is great New York style pizza, picked up a large pepperoni (16”) for $30 including tip. Great quality and the people working were very nice and efficient. The atmosphere of this place is a classic pizza joint that has stood the test of time. Thank you for a great dinner.“
“Saturday night was slow, and there was plenty of seating available. The service was good, I got my order prepared quite fast! They have a few beers on tap, and I ordered a lager. The pizza itself was pretty good. Overall, it was a solid experience.“
“Food was very good as usual. Had a bit of an issue as we went to pay the bill. When we first got there, I asked the server for separate checks. Two couples. The couple we dined with had a substantially bigger bill because of their entrees, salads, drinks, etcSo, no problem with separate checks. We'll, when the server presented us with the two checks she said " I just split the total down the middle"That's not what I asked for. Why would she do that?“
“I have been coming to THIS specific Abo’s, no joke, since I was very young in elementary school, and I’m almost 30. This place is so… charming and welcoming, I can’t even begin to describe it. It’s just your typical hole-in-the-wall kinda joint. But the people and the food are what make it. The guy running this place is so nice, and his workers are just as kind. I MUCH prefer this Abo’s to the other one in Boulder — every time I try to do anything with them, I always have some kind of issue. Never had an issue here in all my years. I do miss all the old creepy masks on the wall though!!! (Only OGs will remember that. Apparently, the masks are all fine, they’re just with the original owner after he sold the place.) Dude chose a good new owner cause I never even noticed a difference minus the masks until I met the new owner. (Also some of the best arcade machines there got removed… and the ones that do remain very often eat your quarters. But they’re very easy to replace your quarter if this happens! That’s genuinely the only downside. I miss the arcade.)It’s some VERY authentic New York style pizza. It’s all I can eat now — it has actually tainted my perception of other pizzas in the same style.“
“This is our go-to basic pizza place in Boulder. There are fancier and much more expensive places but the 30th St one is fantastic. Friendly, quick service. Order a pizza online and it will be done with no mistakes in about 15 minutes for pick-up. Lots of people working behind the counter, joking around and making it a fun place to pick up a pizza. The crust is always perfect and you can get a 16" pizza with one topping, freshly made, for less than $20. They will also sell you raw dough to make your own pizza at home at a very affordable price. Althought this is more expensive than el cheapo competitors like Domino's or Papa John's, the quality is much much better and totally worth it!“
“We had a long day of traveling and decided we wanted pizza we stopped into Hillside, right off the vibes were so welcoming and comfortable.Simon greeted us with positive genuine energy and walked us through the menu and deals. The pies were super reasonable and so delicious my favorite part is the crust. The sauce and dough are made fresh daily and you can really tell the difference. Simon also mentioned that they stay away from can foods and use fresh ingredients. There is also an arcade space to play games while you wait for your pizza. Great place great vibes and great pizza spot.“
“I had the vegan bowl and I will definitely order that again - SO good! My friend and I opted to sit on the patio, which was nice and quiet - indoors was a tiny bit louder, but not much - it was a late lunch on a weekday. The patio still had the plastic enclosures, so I expect it will be loud during the warm months and sound from the adjacent highway will be heard. Boulder Social is pretty much no frills, but the food we had was excellent, as was the service from the moment we walked in the door until we left.“
“Had a great time here, sweet little spot to have a bite. Nice layout through the whole place good music, friendly people and staff. Had the pleasure of having Gigi as our bartender, she made an amazing Negroni for my friends and I. Very knowable in helping us decide what to drink and what spirits to use. 10/10. Tell the boss that Max says you get a rise and a promotion!“
“I love the vibe of this place, I think the art on the wall is so fun and creative, and the people are always so nice!I've had the greek pizza and I love it, but I honestly hate the chicken on it. It's almost tasteless, so I just pick it off in the end. But aside from that I think the pizza is great, and I'm glad you can order them starting at 10".“
“Great food, great atmosphere. Am a regular with my wife and always try to hit happy hour. Myself and several patrons have noticed though we are not receiving happy hour pricing on listed items. (Neighboring table warned us as they were leaving and we checked as well.)“
“Great place for pizza and beer! We enjoyed the covered outside seating and they provided heat lamps which made it comfortable to sit outside. Narrow area to order at, especially during peak hours. We loved the self pour beer wall that they had. Ordered a “Betty White” with added prosciutto and the “Red Barchetta” with added sausage. Both pizzas were good, but nothing too special in our opinion. Still, we liked the beers, the pizza, and the vibes. Also, I might suggest having employees wearing at least a uniformed t-shirt or hat or something? It was confusing on who was a staff member and who was a customer making getting service a barrier.“
