This food is actually good. I have tried all of the prepared supper clubs only to be disappointed by bland food or poor ingredients. Just always blah...But my son was getting his haircut Nextdoor to Downtown Dinners so, I decided to save a grocery run and buy dinner at Downtown Dinners. My boys and I were shockingly surprised... their food is good. I purchased bbq pork hoagies, bruschetta chicken, pepperoni pizza sticks, cassoulet I think it was $46? I am really happy to have freezer ready meal options that taste homemade.

A colleague recommended Downtown Dinners when we were talking about how difficult it is to figure out dinner with a (more than) full time job and small children. I have been ordering for several months and this place is a lifesaver!!! The food is amazing and super simple to cook. I feel like we are actually eating healthier now and with no dishes and minimum time. I have been sending my husband to pick up food weekly and he has been adding things here and there (the pre made cookie dough is life changing). We live in Elizabeth so it's a bit of a hike but he goes on his lunch break and stores everything in the freezer at work for the rest of the day. I am typing this as I just finished a breakfast burrito from DD that was amazing! I am definitely a customer for life!

Ok.... I stopped in on a whim. I had just been to the grocery store and was SO tired of trying to think up new/ interesting dinner ideas!!! My hubs is a picky eater and we have no kids left at home so cooking has become a bit of a chore after a long day at work. I was greeted by a couple of nice ladies, not pushy, just nice, and they left me to browse the pre-made items. I picked out a few items that sounded good, stuffed shells, a chicken dish, meatball subs... We made the stuffed shells and my only complaint was, you need to think a head because the frozen to ready time was a couple of hours. They were cheesy and delicious! Tonight I made the chicken dish, chicken with cheese and bacon. I had put it in the fridge last night, so it was perfectly thawed. It was easy, quick and my husband had seconds!!! He did not eat the green beans but I still consider it a victory!!

I discovered this place today. It is the best discovery EVER! Just fed my family the ravioli, green beans and m&m cookies. We are obsessed. Well be back tomorrow!!!
