In a week we tried Los Dos Portillos, Casa Caliente, and Señor Sol. Hands down winner is Señor Sol. Food is slightly better than Los Dos, drinks are better (order wisely), and service is solid. Yes, it’s a little hole in the wall on the Ambiance side, but that’s part of its charm. We’ll be back, very regularly.
This little hole in the wall has one of the best menudos I've had in Denver. You know it's authentic too when the entire staff has an accent. I also recommend the Chile con queso burrito with shredded beef. If you love spice, this is the place for you!
