Love this place. The lady working the bar yesterday was a great server. The Mexican food spots on south Broadway have all gone down hill. Ubered from Englewood to get my drink and grub on! Meal would have been perfect EXCEPT carna in the street tacos was overcooked and dry. Asked for med rare on my carna asada plate. It came well done.

Today I want to talk to you about our recent experience at Los 2 Potrillos. We arrived and after a short wait they sat us down. They brought us chips and the food is delicious! The drinks too. The waiter treated us well. We asked for a sauce, he brought it to us, we didn't like that sauce, we asked him to bring us another one, it doesn't matter if he charged for it and if he brought us. It is appreciated. It's important to recognize when we receive good service and this waiter definitely earned our gratitude. Although not all of our requests were exactly as we expected, their willingness and kindness made our experience positive. It is essential to value the effort and good treatment in any service we receive. We thank the waiter for his attention and dedication in making our visit pleasant.

On March 10th, a very special day, MAR10 Day, my sister and I decided to celebrate by ending the night with some delightful Mexican food. Los Dos Portrillos had been pleasant before, so we decided to sashay our way to this decadent spot. We were greeted by the welcoming atmosphere, and the pleasant staff. My sister and I hit the jackpot, however, we didn’t know it yet. We had been seated in Ivan’s section. Ivan came over, introduced himself, and offered some appetizers. We went with a bowl of creamy white cheese to dip our chips in. I was so excited that I almost jumped up and started salsa dancing! The white queso was so delicious! Ivan then took our order; I ordered the Enchiladas En Salsa Verde! Now if I thought the cheese queso and chips were delicious, I wasn’t prepared for the Enchiladas En Salsa Verde! The enchiladas were so good, that I got down on my knees and started praising Jesus right in the middle of the restaurant! I knew Jesus was blessing me with good food, but this was absolutely over the top. As the enchiladas slid down my esophagus, I was getting more and more excited. I wasn’t just happy, I was quite aroused! Ivan came back to check on us, he was very attentive, and extremely kind! He refilled our beverages in a timely manner and made us feel special! This experience turned me into a believer! I knew that Los Dos Portrillos was an amazing restaurant, but now, it has raised to my next level, “I can’t live without it!” Thank you Los Dos Portrillos for delicious food! Thank you Ivan for welcoming my sister and I, and taking care of us! We will be back! Until then, I will continue to dream about those hot, perfect, and tasty enchiladas sliding down my esophagus and into my tummy!

I have been coming here since I was 10! I absolutely love this restaurant. I bring everyone here and always recommend it. The best.Parking: It is only difficult because it gets so busy! They do have plenty, but tricky to get a close spot during peak hours.

Quality has really gone down. We have been going to the Holly Street location probably for 15 years or whenever they opened . The food comes out warm and almost instantaneously. It’s like there’s nobody in the kitchen to prepare the order. I think maybe they have too many restaurants to keep track of and management is strapped.I hope that they can get a handle on everything ?

I'm a long time fan but Im not paying the 40% increase in prices when they opened the new location in Castle Rock. It's the same food and service. La Loma has better food, better views and better service.

Food is always great at Los Dos… It’s the service that could use some improvement.

We probably go once a week -just super solid food. We used to only go during the week when less crowded, but don’t sleep on brunch and pozole (I think also only on weekends).Parking: Not a problem for me per se, as we usually walk, but we often see people having to walk from fairly far back in the parking lot because this restaurant and it’s neighbors are always all fairly busy.

Los Dos used to be our go-to for eating out. I've always enjoyed their skinny margs and food, particularly the queso and camarones los dos potrillos. Recently tho, they raised their prices roughly 40% on the things we enjoy. Our last bill for a family of 4 with 2 margaritas, queso and 4 entrees was over $125, not including tip. I'm struggling to see the value any longer, particularly when Mexican food is supposed to be quick and cheap. As much as I enjoy Los Dos, I can't see myself going there that often anymore. Very disappointing.

This has become our 'fix' for Mexican food in the area, though it's not the greatest we've ever had having lived in So Cal and spent time in parts of Mexico, it's good food. You'll see ladies standing and making homemade tortillas, which is a sign of a family business and holding onto the culture of the food. The restaurant is always busy, but you can get seated reasonably fast any time of day. Wait staff is usually friendly and on it, getting food and drinks out to you quickly. When it comes to the food, most items are quite tasty, especially the fajitas, enchiladas and a decent chili Relleno. One tip with the tacos, don't get the ground beef, which is their default taco! It tastes like a slight upgrade from Taco Bell. Ask for the shredded beef or chicken instead, it's a whole different experience and delicious. Probably the biggest downfall over our many visits has been the hosting staff, as we have yet to meet one that was smiling and genuinely happy to be there, but once you're seated, it's a good experience all around.
