Happily surprised with this restaurant! Food was delicious, great service from Jessa and good ambience overall. Also best carrot cake we’ve had. Highly recommend this place of you have been looking everywhere for good

Great service from the staff as always. But it seems like the quality has gone down in recent years. Had to send my prime rib back because it was chewy. They were quick to get me something else, but the replacement wasn't very good either. They also seem to be changing up the way they season and spice things. We stopped in for lunch and I tried the Nashville chicken. The flavor was great and so was the slaw, but it wasn't spicy at all. I'd still recommend it though. The shoestring fries that came with the sandwich were good and had some pepper on them. As with other J. Alexander sites, the place can be a bit dark. The staff was friendly and we were seated immediately.
