Great service, food, and atmosphere. The flavor styles and diner style cooking leave you feeling happy and full. Neat place!
First time trying this place and it was a total disaster. Website is useless and doesn't allow you to order online for pick up, which wasn't a huge deal. Went inside, ordered from the waitress, who said it would be ready in 15-20 minutes and would bring it to my car, which was parked right in front of the door. I waited, and waited, and WAITED. No breakfast. Finally 50 min later I go inside to find my bagged order sitting on the counter getting cold for who knows how long. I say to the person behind the counter, "I didn't know this was ready. She said she was going to bring it out to the car." The woman looks at me and says, "Oh." Super helpful. So I take my order and drive home, only to find that the order is incorrect and we are missing an entire meal. Awesome. The biscuits and gravy was dry, cold, and had barely any actual meat and the biscuit was burnt. The blueberry pancakes were really bland. The sweet cakes were plain French toast with a hint of orange extract. Seriously, a giant waste of time and money for less than mediocre breakfast food.
This place is so cozy and homey I love it! Everyone is so sweet! Food was authentic southern food! They even made accommodations for my boyfriend who is vegetarian! Highly recommend!
Enjoyed the breakfast a lot. Got an omelette, butter browns (hash browns), and a griddle biscuit which I cannot quite describe but is nice and dense and served with homemade jam of the day. Mine was strawberry mango. Coffee was good, service was excellent. Definitely a great menu and worthwhile checking out. Has a few options with green chile and sausage gravy if you like that flavor.
Always fresh made food. Hash is great. Homemade jams. Friendly staff.
Ok so this place was good. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. I wasn't a huge fan of my sassy breakfast sandwhich. I think it would have been better with crunchy bread instead of the French toast and the hashbrowns were kind of dry until I put syrup on them. Mom got the "crunchy" sandwhich. That was amazing!!! The home made coleslaw was just like my grandmas. For desert we got the blueberry crunch pancake. That was kinda blah until syrup was added. I want to go back to try the popper burger. Service was awesome and so were the prices $30 total for the two of us. Go check it out.
First time coming to this place, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The popper burger was delicious, served quickly for a good price. The waitress Sarah, was super sweet and tended to our every need! Will be back many more times!
This was such an amazing place! The food was Perfect! The staff was AMAZING!
First time in. Had biscuits and gravy and a side of bacon. One of the best restaurant breakfasts I have had in a long time. I will certainly return. BTW Lunch menu looks great.
I pass through Colo Springs several times per year, usually on the Interstate- this time we got off and drove into town for breakfast. There was a wait for the table so we chose to eat at the bar instead. Great food, friendly service, good coffee! Carne Asada Papas - Yummmm!
Seems like a one off, but this was our first experience and ruined Mother’s Day. Service was horrendous, we waited WELL over an hour for our food and half the orders were wrong. We had to inquire numerous times where our food was ...they comp’d the meal but it still didn’t make up for it. Sadly we were excited as the reviews and menu looked amazing. By the time we finally received our food, our appetites were gone. Several parties that arrived before us received their meals way before us. To all those that have had good experiences, good for you...this will be our only time.
It was very good! A very friendly, talk-loudly, have fun with friends sort of environment. Their food is delicious and a little bit different than usual. I would highly recommend to anyone who is hungry and in the mood for brunch
Always a great meal and friendly service! Had the breakfast burrito with bacon covered in green chili... perfect!!! Drinks stayed filled and felt at home!!!
Quality and cleanliness of establishment was 5 star. Staff was informative and friendly. My egg was undercooked, food has alot of potatoes, fries were overcooked. Enchilada chicken was dry. Heard from a neighboring table that owners may be put of town though. Coffee is good not bitter with a smoky finish.
Absolutely amazing breakfast ? great teamwork with staff. Definitely bring your friends and family ?❤
