So this review is only a partial review. We came here for appetizers before another dinner reservation. What caught our eye was on Mondays they offer $0.99 cent oysters. And they are quality oysters. We also had grilled octopus with chorizo. Absolutely amazing. I would definitely look to try and come again to try and eat off the main menu. But if you love oysters come in a Monday if you want them for a low price. The place itself is really nice and has great decor.

Had another great dinner here. Nice to see the restaurant busy and appeared to be fully staffed, so never had to wait long for our food and drinks. The clam chowder was really good and fried fritter in the chowder was a great touch. I could have had a few more with the soup. I ordered the surf and turf salad , but they ran out of steak for it, so they doubled up on the shrimp. Even just with the shrimp it was still very good. The dressing on the salad was very creamy and had lots of taste. My dining companion had the fish and chips and when asked how many fried fishes out of 5 he would give it and said 5. All around a very good meal and can't wait to try their oysters next time we go back.

This place is so good. Seafood in the middle of the denver? Hell yeah. These oysters are amazing and the other food is great. They have some really solid signature cocktails as well. They get crowded so make sure you book ahead of time. The atmosphere is interesting, it can get a little loud in there as the kitchen is open to the dining room but they have plenty of outdoor seating. Call and book a table ahead of time because it does get busy! This is a must eat if you want seafood in denver.

I go to BIOB frequently and have always enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere.

Great atmosphere, service and food. A great new place!

I've been looking for a sea food place in Denver for a long time now. I finally found about Blue Island Oyster bar and Sea food!Went there for happy hour and it was such a wonderful experience. The Oysters were soooooooo good! The wine was great! Very cool vibe. The server, Caitlin, was super nice with us. We will definitely go back. Highly recommended

Prickly waitress. Long wait for food

Excellent food and drinks. A little noisy at first, but the noise died down. The food was an excellent distraction. We came for the oyster special and ended up having a full dinner.

Excellent oysters and fish sliders. Brussel sprouts were also exceptional. Highly recommend!

Best seafood in Denver -- period! For a late Sunday lunch, the crispy fish and salmon sliders were excellent. The cod was a generous portion, and is so delicious with the coleslaw topper. The salmon was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The little neck clams, with a side a grilled ciabatta bread, were delicious. The wine selection includes as good variety, but my favorite is the white bordeaux. My husband enjoys his perfect cocktails there. We enjoy the fun, casual ambiance and the friendly and efficient service!

I will never go back to this restaurant again, that’s for sure!! The food is overpriced and underwhelming to say the least. My Mother ordered some crab legs that she said were old and tasted bland. The service was slow and the waiter looked like he wanted to be somewhere else. Stay away!

Salad, clams, lobster roll, fried fish, Spanish oysters—all excellent. But an otherwise excellent meal was marred by very soggy and cold shoestring fries. So four stars. Do better folks. If McDonald’s can make a crispy French fry, so can you. Cheers.

My husband, son and I are regulars and we love this place! We're from Los Angeles and have had our share of great seafood. Very nice selection of oysters, cocktails are ideal. Happy hour is always worth going to, fried surf clams & fries and the fish taco are faves we get every time. Atmosphere and decor give a slight coastal vibe that's great for day or night. We'll always be back!

food is very good and service is good. this is a five star restaurant except it's quite noisy

opentable dinner
