Our server, Jasmine, was engaging, professional, and thorough. Our food was superb. We started with the spanish Octopus, a new prepreation, and it was better than either of the last ones. We shared the Diver's Platter and each seafood was perfectly cooked. We asked if it were possible to get the Cod grilled versus deep fired and were told "yes". a w onderful spot. Get the oysters, especially on Monday's.

So very, very disappointed to arrive on April 2 to learn that the simply prepared fish options have been removed from the menu. We were going here about every other week but now???? (this would have been a 5 star before)

The miso cod and the Oscar salmon were delicious but the octopus was a bit overcooked and had a slimy feeling on the outside that was off putting. The dish was still delicious in flavor though. We had Brian as our server and he was amazing!

As the weather heats up, this is a great option for sitting outside on the patio. Being at the bar is also a great option. My sister and I enjoyed a lovely lunch on the patio sipping on white wine and eating lobster rolls. Great place for fresh seafood. My parents live in Cherry Creek and they frequent this restaurant often. Oysters, cocktails, wine, & fish! What more could you want

The food was good but could be better. We started off with the clam chowder and calamari. The clam chowder was probably the best thing we had, they are not lying when they say it's the city's best clam chowder. Do yourself a favor and order this! The calamari was unique, we never had any calamari like this. It had an asian twist to it, instead of your typical lemon juice drizzle they use orange and sesame - similar flavor to an orange chicken is the best way I can describe it. Because of how different and flavorful it was, I liked it! For the main cause, we split the Filet Mignon and pan-roasted striped bass. The filet mignon and the pan toasted striped bass was good but what I liked the most was the butternut squash risotto that came with the bass. Again, the risotto is super unique like nothing I've had, super flavorful, and super good! Besides the clam chowder, the best part of the meal was the key lime pie. Their key lime pie is to die for. I would come back just for their clam chowder soup and key lime pie!

Another fantastic happy hour at Blue Island Oyster Bar! I was so pleased to see that happy hour starts at 2:00! This time we shared a burger and fries (but also got some peel and eat shrimp) and it was fantastic!

Great place in uptown Denver! The oysters were delicious and the service was friendly even though we got there shortly before closing. Their happy hour is amazing too! Great deals. The vibe is fun and trendy but the music can be a little loud. A standout for me was their lobster roll :)

I was disappointed that they didn't have their normal Sunday menu, I even double checked the website. But I really appreciate the management for responding and saying they would have been happy to make something off the menu for us. Their food is great!!!

We have always loved Blue Island Oyster Bar and have gone there weekly for the past three years, but they just DOUBLED the price for a drink and that seems excessive. I can see raising the price a couple of dollars, but double is too much. I think we will have to look for a new favorite place to go weekly.

Server didn't know what medium plus was and kept saying oh you mean medium well? I said no, medium plus, oh you mean medium rare? No medium plus, oh you mean medium? No. Finally caved and ordered both steaks medium well. One came out well done and the other medium rare. I guess that's what I get for ordering my kids steaks at a seafood restaurant. Also tried to walk in the night before and was told they were fully committed. Went next door to cherry cricket and looked on open table to see they had reservations available in an hour.

I love this place. Oysters for 99 cents each. And the oyster are good quality oysters. Yes, you have to come after 9pm on Friday/Saturday. But totally worth it. The lobster roll was ok but the clam chowder was amazing. Kids meal was decent size for $10. Service was also great...Very good experience and family friendly.
