I'm from Buffalo, NY (chicken wing capital) and Cap City has the best wings I've had in Denver. Feels like they don't realize that which is a missed opportunity. Should be entering the wings in regional food fests. All the sauces are excellent except for BBQ which is terrible...and probably why not many people know about their wings as that's a first pick for most. To the owner: switch out your BBQ sauce for something special and you'll thank me!
This felt like a real local spot. I sat at the bar for a few drinks and a late dinner. The bartender knew everybody by name and he was regularly joking with them all. Great atmosphere. Although it was my first time in, I was greeted warmly and even introduced to a few of the regulars that were at the bar. I only ate light food, but it was good. I liked this bar and would always be happy to return

Very laid back but great Tavern! Nice seating available in front of building. Came in during Happy Hour (3-6pm). I heard raving reviews about their wings.
