I helped my son move to Denver from New Orleans, and he suggested this place for breakfast the next morning. He has been visiting friends in Denver for years and said this was one of his favorite places for breakfast, so we went. We got there about 10 am on a Sunday morning and had a 45-minute wait to get seated. The menu is simple, and the service was great. The workers were on the spot as soon as a table cleared, they were cleaning it and had the next group seated within a few minutes. While we waited, I saw the size of the biscuits as servers brought out food to others. My son encouraged me to "split" a meal with him, so we did. 10 year old granddaughter wanted a cinnamon roll, and it was the size of a loaf of bread! So we helped her with that and still had leftovers of it to go. She was excited! He and I split a Franklin, which was a fried chicken breast topped with thick bacon,cheddar cheese, and sausage gravy. It was very good and half a meal filled both of us. See the photos for more. He had Irish coffee and I had a bloody Mary. Excellent dining experience and easy to see why it took so long to get seated! Still worth the wait.

Amazing biscuit sandwiches and gravy. Got the Franklin with the sausage and mushroom gravy. Gravy was amazing and biscuit was well soft and fluffy inside with a good crunchy exterior. Would recommend and honestly two people could easily share one of these biscuits.

I live in the neighborhood and heard good things about this place. I got a couple of take out slices for the first time and was disappointed. They just threw a few topings on top of a pre-made pizza. I came home and had to cook it myself. This felt like sub-par effort and I cannot recommend it as a pizza spot.

If you’re into very tasty breakfast accommodations, then this restaurant is the place to be. The food was plentiful and very tasty, the servers were very polite, the staff was truly excellent and professional at all times, the atmosphere was ambient and refreshing, the location is ideal and the restaurant itself is a five star review all around. I highly encourage others to visit this very quaint restaurant.Parking: You just have to find the right time and day to get nearby parking, other than that, everything was fine.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access.

Good food but my meal came to "$13.99 and I was charged $47.41. I handed .my $13.99 receipt and card to server and she brought back my card and receipt to sign and leave tip. That receipt showed a $47.41 amount. When I addressed server and manager about it, shared them the text from my bank about balance after transaction, they nothing...not really even an apology. They just told me to call back tomorrow as they don't give refunds in cash. Please pay by cash.
DBC is simply the best chicken biscuit in ALL the LAND. This is a MUST HAVE when in Denver.

Really solid biscuits. I did not realize the coffee was 3.50. When the server said to help yourself to the self-serve, I assumed it to be free. It was a misunderstanding on my part, but I wish there would have been more clarity. Unfortunately, the toilet was clogged. Everything else was phenomenal.

Literally the greatest biscuits I have eaten. Our server Sam was very helpful and provided amazing service. The franklin was delicious. The food was amazing; nice clean area and good atmosphere. I definitely recommend visiting here for breakfast or brunch or lunch.
