Will definitely come back! Very good seafood and their happy hour specials were phenomenal! They also have great palomas
Not bad place, limited menu but I loved the Guac and chips with homemade chips and seared tuna on top. Wow! The fish and chips was just ok the breading wasn't adhering well. Fries a little greasy. For price they charge you'd expected a little better on the fish n chips. They added more street tables so they definitely can accommodate more people than a previous visit I had here. Kind of in an unassuming part of RINO. They are opening a outdoor food hall soon across street which would bring more business.
Just happened to come across this place when exploring downtown, and very glad we did! I got a shrimp po-boy which was awesome, and my buddy said her Salmon was great too. The waitress we had was extra awesome and told us some good places to go in Denver during our stay there. Would come back when in the area again!
Hard to find seafood in landlocked city. This one did it. Soooooo good.
If you're looking for great servers this is it! The chef made an amazing civeche. My only problem was its just weird to eat on a table you would see at a cookout for Easter and spend over $100s on a meal.
Fun spot. Definitely worth a stop - we waited a while and killed time at the decidedly retro Embassy Tavern across the block.Lean into the smelt fries.
Hands down one of my FAVORITE meals I've had since living in Denver for 2+ years. The whole Sea Bass is LEGIT! Perfectly balanced, the Brussels and crispy potatoes were top notch and the broth from order of muscles we started out with could be a soup it was so good. Definitely coming by back. Definitely being friends and family here.
Fish N Beer is a very good seafood place in Denver. My wife and I shared some grilled oysters and coal roasted mussels to start. The oysters were done with butter and garlic, the mussels were served in a tomato and beer broth, and both were excellent. I had a scallop jambalaya and my wife had salmon with gnocchi and mushrooms in a light cream sauce. The salmon dish was perfect, with a crispy seared outside. The gnocchi was also perfectly seared and delicious. For dessert we shared a slice of fantastic key lime pie. The pie to whipped cream ratio was a bit overkill, but I just took some off. The crust, and the pie itself, were delicious. For those who love whipped cream, they do toast the top of it like a meringue, which was tasty. This was not an inexpensive meal, but we both really enjoyed it and we left feeling full. I would certainly return.
Fish N Beer is the reason I keep trying new places. It reminds me of something you'd find on a coast, but am so happy to see it in Denver! I only got to try a few things; the guacamole, ceviche, jambalaya and a few oysters, but I think it's safe to say you can't go wrong.
Excellent oyster selection and preparation, great drinks, and awesome service. Scott described the oysters well and we ended up trying three, then ordering a dozen more. Also the best key lime pie I’ve had outside of south Florida. Definitely stop in here!
Spanish Octopus and Alamosa bass were amazing. It was tender, melt in your mouth, and spot-on flavor. Our server Alex who was very helpful and attentive.
Yeppp. This place was fab. We tried two of each oyster and my fave was the garlic butter ones. I had the Scottish Salmon. It is served over gnocchi with a cream sauce and honestly I could have just had the gnocchi and cream sauce and been in heaven. Service was fast and they answer all your questions.
The food was amazing. The drinks were great. But hands down the best part of our experience was our server Scott. We took a chance and sat outside in a stormy day... he was fantastic and he was a great sport about it all. Thanks to Scott for a great start to a great date night!
This place is Great!Best app - Chips & Guac from the sea. Killer flavor. Garlic oysters are BOMB. Cocktails are solid too. Bee Humble was tasty.Vibe is urban, contemporary, cool and comfortable with a touch of class ??
Fun place. Seating out back was a good vibe. Lorenzo our server was great! Kudos Lorenzo.Good selection of appetizers and entrees. A little high on pricing for what you get but food was delicious. There were eight of us on 12 June around 7:00. We had a dozen oysters, an order of mussels and two orders of poached shrimp (served cold) for sharing as appetizers.FNB Basket, the shrimp po boy and the rockfish were favorites. The Mexican shrimp cocktail didn’t go over as well.We would do it again. Enjoy!
