Went here last night for a birthday dinner - was almost completely empty but don't let that fool you! Overall experience was great. The vibe and music was on point and made for a great atmosphere. Mondays they have half price bottles of wine which was a steal (and good wine!). Our serve was super attentive, always replenishing our water and timing our food perfectly. We both had the pork belly ramen, which was fantastic for a non-ramen-focused place. We also had the crispy rice & spicy tuna app which was delicious and the tuna tataki roll which was fab as well. My only complaint is the creme brulee was soupy and not done right so that was disappointing as it was my partner's birthday dessert but they were kind enough to take it off the bill so that was nice. Otherwise I highly recommend!

This is a great date night restaurant. The atmosphere and decore has a Vegas vibe to it and there is plenty of seating at the bar. The food is fast and fresh coming to the table and the waitstaff is on point with their timing. Enjoy delicious fresh sushi made to order or a hot dinner dish if you’re looking for something more filling.

I have been taste-testing yellowtail nigiri at every sushi restaurant I've been to in Japan, Hawaii and Denver since 2016, and this is the best I've ever had. I'd like to know their source and get a hookup. I'd also like to know what nigiri sauce they used; it was delectable.

I really was hoping for a better experience when I made a reservation here. Unfortunately, the service was horrible and the food was not as good as I was expecting. Everything lacked flavor and was pretty dry. In terms of service, it seemed like they had 2 servers for the entire restaurant and our server was not attentive even though he apologized. They seemed to keep forgetting food as well.

I am not sure who their chef is but the biggest feedback we had is related to the food. The charred octopus was nowhere near charred. It was well cooked, but it never saw a grill, broiler, or any type of real fire. The cucumber salad was good but is literally just cucumbers in a ponzu sauce. Adding some pickled onions or green onions would have went a long way. Finally and most egregious, their Tonkatsu Ramen is everything but that. First Tonkatsu Ramen is made with a creamy pork broth base, here it was a beef consommé broth. Very clear and not full bodied at all. Also, they added so many strange “toppings” to their ramen that it made the whole soup taste strange, putrid almost. They added kimchi, and pickled onions, sautéed button mushrooms, among what some would consider normal ramen ingredients (soft boiled egg, bok choy, pork belly, green onions, and noodles). I added steak, but regretted it since there were no good way to eat it since I had no way to cut the pieces to a more manageable size for my mouth. We get ramen every Wednesday for the last 2+ years striving to try new places and this was the most unappealing, unpleasant tasting bowl of ramen I have ever tasted. I would almost rather eat instant ramen and save the money. My husband had a veggie roll and the Chuck Norris roll and said they were just “alright”, but nothing memorable. The only other issue we had was that on a Wednesday night they only appeared to have one bartender and one waitperson downstairs. We were there for almost 2.5 hours for a meal that could have easily been served and ate in about 1-1.5 hours.

NOT a Japanese restaurant. Or, even a real sushi restaurant. It could be OK if you go there thinking it as an American fusion restaurant. But, you will be deeply disappointed if you go there wanting some Japanese foods or sushi.1. Tonkotsu ramen is not a tonkotsu ramen. If people see this without knowing it's tonkotsu, they wouldn't know it is (too much "fusion" with so many ingredients that wouldn't go in to tonkotsu ramen). The majority of ingredients are factory made. I can even guess where they get kimchi and where they get their broth. Factory made kimchi, pickled onion, broth, and noodles. Pork was too chopped up, so I couldn't tell, but potentially factory made. Only "cooking" was "charring" the celery, which I know wasn't much of charring or cooking.2. Their "tempura" is not "tempura". I think they just assumed anything fried is tempura. Their tempura veggies are unrecognizable as "tempura". No Japanese person would think it as tempura by looking at it.3. They call themselves as sushi restaurant, but serve sushi with some kind of "Big Mac sauce". How can they be a serious sushi restaurant that also serve omakase and serve sushi with that kind of sweet mayo dipping sauce? I wouldn't expect much from sushi here.4. They need real chopsticks. I understand that it's an American restaurant, but it's like going to a steakhouse and eating a steak with plastic silverware. It feels like eating convenience store food with cheap disposable chopsticks.

So the food is very good, but not amazing. The nigiri was solid but we got a deep fried roll that was falling apart and impossible to eat with chopsticks. You can get the same quality sushi in Denver for equal or less price with way better service. My wife and I went here for her birthday and for the price, expected something top notch. We didn't get that. I want to be clear that the sushi was good (not amazing). Our server was nice, but we literally went 20+ minutes between our server even checking in on us, even though there were empty plates and glasses that say there for 10+ minutes. We were seated right by the POS station so we could see (not an exaggeration) 7 servers hanging out chatting for 10 or more minutes at a time while no tables got service. I don't think I'm high maintenance, but that's a little unprofessional.Note for the owners: everyone was being seated upstairs while the downstairs street level dining was empty. If people are walking by and looking in and see a completely empty dining room, that's not going to make people want to stop in!Good not great food, nice servers, but if you want a meal in less than 3 hours, pass. If you want value for your money, pass.

The fish was really good. The ramen broth was missing something to make it more flavorful. Great cocktails. All of our plates were chipped on each course which didn't seem very professional.

Staff was amazing! Fun and great service. The food however was not good at all. Especially for the prices. I was expecting a higher grade of sushi for the price but it left a lot to be desired.

Amazing atmosphere and service from the staff. We are up by the sushi guys, and they were the best to chat with and give recommendations on the menu.

Besides the glass chandelier place is decent downstairs is more set up like a bar huge high top tables that you have to sit next to other people and then all just many half chair half couch tables. They are still stuck with the Covid days. No menus everything is on your phone, very small sushi selection. Our waiter really wasn't a waiter. Just an order taker never came back to see how we were doing. Asked if we wanted more drinks. All of our food was brought out by other people. Overall, the food was decent really don't think I would go back.
