It was our first time dining and we will be back! The birthday card was a great touch and our server was great.

Service was fantastic. Food incredible. Grilled octopus and truffle gnocchi are a must. Fish and steak cooked perfectly.

Delicious! Ask for half portions of family sides, more than enough good for two people. Steak and black cod were amazing. Awesome cocktails too!

Dustin was our Great waiter! Took my friend for her first experience at G&G :)

Guard & Grace should get rid of the tables set up against the kitchen. There is too much foot traffic and noise there. Despite there being other tables for 2 open, the hostess sat us there. And my chair was bumped on multiple occasions. It was also difficult to hear my wife most of the night because of how loud it was. It also contributed to misordering oysters: I thought my waiter said Kusshi oysters but he brought out a very different set. This was my 4th time at the restaurant and without question the worst experience I had. Doubtful I will make any effort to return again.

Guard and Grace is hands down one of the best restaurants my fiancé and I have ever been to. Between the ambiance, the delicious food and cocktails, and the personable staff, there is nothing but positive things to say. Our waiter Blake was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and was able to guide us towards our selections based on our tastebuds and popular dishes. The Dry Aged NY Strip was extremely tasteful and cooked to perfection! The octopus, potatoes, and even the bread and butter were also amazing. This restaurant is a MUST GO while in Denver.

Audrey (or Audra, apologies canât be 100% sure) was fantastic as our server. She was attentive and thoughtful and went the extra distance in explaining ingredients in the dishes. Had good conversation as well. All in all 100% perfect.

First, let me preface this with I absolutely LOVE steak and have come to appreciate exceptional steaks over the years. I came here for my birthday on 8/1 and was both surprised and disappointed in what was ultimately a lacklustre meal. Iâll start with the positives - the drinks were fantastic; we got the amaretto sours and they were superbly made!! The charcuterie and cheese plates looked phenomenal (we didnât order this but saw other tables that had) and would try if we go back. However, the steaks, while âgoodâ were just ok - even my husband commented that he thought Texas Roadhouse serves better steaks and that he wish they had used the specialty salts for making/serving the steaks. The sides - from worst to best -the asparagus honestly tasted a bit like kerosene as opposed to grilled; my husband loaded potato was fine and the mushrooms were great! Our server was great - she was super attentive and even took the asparagus off the bill once we told her about the taste. I will say, given that our reservation was for a birthday and that my husband told them it was my birthday, I was a little surprised that there was no dessert or anything offered for such (as I had seen others post for such). All in all, an expensive meal for what didnât taste or live up to its price point - Gordon Ramsay Steakhouse in Vegas or Roka Akor in San Francisco are the experience caliber I expect for the prices of Guard and Grace. Great for drinks/charcuterie/cheese but wouldnât recommend for steaks/meals.
