Stopped in while running an errand on Colfax. I have been perpetually annoyed that sbux and other chain coffee shops charge $7+ for a large latte that only has 2 shots of espresso so I have made it a point to enjoy more of Denver’s local coffee shops.Thus is definitely a small, unique shop but I LOVE that they have a drive through. The girl who took my order was really pleasant and definitely dressed for the 95 degree weather ;) There were 3 shots in my large latte which was another plus! I also ordered a banana nut muffin, which I had to stop myself gluttonous self from eating the entire thing - it was delicious. I’ll definitely stop through again when on this end of Colfax!

I’ve been going to Hot Chick for a random treat for the past 3-4 years. I have never had a bad experience and have always enjoyed my nooner and their breakfast burritos hit the spot all the time!!The girls are always beautiful and kind and the coffee is always amazing!!

Only stumbled upon this shop as I’m house sitting in this side of town, and it has quickly become my go to shop! The barista helped me with the menu and flavor options and each time it is truly made to perfection!! The muffins are also delicious :) thanks ladies!

Heard about it and I was in the area so I tried it. Extensive coffee and food menu. I had a breve and asked about "white espresso." The barista was knowledgeable and the coffee was great. Great coffee, great service, and a very beautiful ? start to the morning. You can't afford not to drop in for your morning pick me up!

I had high hopes for Hot Chick A Latte, but I felt pretty disappointed. The times on Google and Apple Maps are not correct. For the summer they are open 6 am-6 pm. Today was the last day of them closing with winter hours at 4pm. I learned so much from Shannon that they wear bikinis usually but it was colder out today so she was wearing other clothes. She was friendly and had an awesome personality. She also informed me that the business is not only all woman owned at the moment, but they are black owned too! She was patient with me when I was ordering. I asked for the Morning Wood Sticky (add caramel), Dirty (add chocolate), and Stiff (add espresso); as well as a chocolate muffin and Mr Stiffy's Breakfast Burrito. The drink was pretty gross. It didn't taste like caramel, chocolate or espresso had been added, although I know they (the caramel and chocolate) must've been added because I could see the drizzle. The taste was faint, and even that wasn't all that pleasant. It was not very enjoyable. The muffin was good, it tasted like Otis Spunkmeyer so nothing extraordinary, but the best thing I tasted from them. The muffin was heated a bit too much so the bottom became hard but I was still able to eat the top. The burrito I originally ordered with chorizo but they only had bacon, so I agreed with that. It comes with eggs, green chili, potatoes, and bacon. I wish it were more spicy, but I understand not everyone eats food as scalding as I do. It was seasoned decently a little on the salty side. It would've been better if the potatoes did not provide a gritty texture. All in all I was not a fan. I think the recipes need some work. They do have infused Red Bull drink that I was considering trying but I'm not sure if I'll make the drive again knowing the food and drinks needs some adjustment.

Cool spot, great views, drive-thru, local, and black & woman owned. Seems kind of rare in Colorado which is why its a great place to support. I don't visit often but when I do the service is great and staff is always friendly. You will pay for the drink and the experience. It is similarly priced to starbucks except its actually better. If you are visiting Denver then go. You won't be dissapointed.

Hot chicks? Maybe average chick's at best. $4 drip coffee that was terribly bitter. I brought the coffee back and was told I would get no refund. Asked for different drip and it wasn't much better. If you're going to have a coffee shop, be good at coffee.
