A great spot downtown. Jax is a Denver classic. I started going here when I worked up the street 15+ years ago. Denver has changed so much in that time - but Jax has consistently stayed the same - amazing seafood, a fun beverage program, and excellent service are always on the menu. Tonight I had the seafood chowder. I chose it because it's a bit chilly out. It was absolutely perfect. I also had a cocktail from the specials menu called the acid trip - it was transcendental!
