My favorite Denver gem. Been here for 3 years and it's the best food I've had yet, everything was perfect baked goods were delectable salads were scrumptious and the crepes were out of this world I will definitely be back time and time again I highly recommend it Don't miss it bechamel sauce is great☮️
So very lovely! The aroma, the flavor and the vast selection are ALL SPECTACULAR in every way!
Our friend who works in the area suggested Katherine's for brunch, and he was right on target. We sat outside, abd it wasn't too hot because they have tables with umbrellas. They offer brunch everday which is nice. I ordered tge Challah French Toast with bananas soaked in rum and whipped cream. It was delicious, and I had extras to take home. On the way out we ordered two chocolate croissants for breakfast the next day.
I haven't tried their food but Katherine's has the most authentic French pastries I could find in the Denver metro area so far. I ordered an Opera cake for my husband's birthday and it was delicious! Not cheap but totally worth it, as well as the drive from Boulder. The only criticism I have is that I wish they had more types of pastries available - I wanted to try an Opera pastry before buying the whole cake, but couldn't. Anyway, I'm glad I took the risk!
Great bakery and good pastries. However staff is extremely rude and handles food in unsanitary ways. I don’t want to eat a pastry handled by a sexist man that is touched by his unwashed bare hands. :^)
Had several pastries: french roll, almond croissant, and pan au chocolat. All were decent but I was quite disappointed in the almond. Great service and good coffee.Would give it a 3.5 star if possible but couldn't say 4 stars so choose the 3.Next time I'll go just down the street to devil's food as pricing is the same but with a higher quality.
Wonderful great food and service delicious I would recommend making a reservation before going it is a small style Cafe setting very nice place
I am one of the loyal customers of this place until this morning. The gentleman by the cash register who took the orders, I guess he is kind of a manager, was extremely rude to me when trying to give an order today. He doesn’t know how to talk with customers and even with towards to his colleagues as well. This wasn’t the first time it was happening to me. It occurred to me several times. Also, I’ve witnessed him talk rudely to his female colleague in front of customers. I love this place, but this type of poor employment can kill the business's reputation for sure.
I had the crab eggs Benedict and it was absolutely delicious. It was on brioche toast. I had dessert with my breakfast- a wonderful Napoleon- the filling was heavenly. The service was exceptional.
Relaxing and family friendly. They serve a full breakfast and have a selection of yummy French pastries. It's like being in Paris.
The food here is delicious!!! Mario and the rest of the staff are so friendly. Great service. Love this place.
A French cake was requested by an out of town guest at relatively the last minute and Katherine's came through! I snuck over here at 7am on a Tuesday and snagged a cake, I don't know when it was baked which given they're closed on Mondays I was concerned it may have been 2 days old, but it was a hit! Tasted great, I'd order from here again no doubt. Also grabbed 2 slices of quiche for breakfast that morning, they were perfect. Definitely a great spot.
Love this little place. The pastries are divine and the quiche!!!!.... haven't had any that good outside of France.
My wife and I occasionally come here to meet with others for a casual yet elegant breakfast. I live in just south of this location in the Cory-Merrill area and I work in Cherry Creek are but I highly highly recommend coming here. As another review wrote: "wonderful French cuisine, Americanized a bit". Excellent sweet and savory crepes. Sandwiches and salads and a huge delicious brunch menu served all day. Perfect, friendly service, easy parking.
For a party we ordered a variety of food from this bakery. Bacon Cheese Quiche, Mushroom Spinach Quiche, Pavlova Cake, Chocolate Mousse Cake, Pear Galettes, Grand Marnier filled cream puffs, a variety of different Tarts and Linzer Cookies. Everything was delicious and super fresh tasting. The tarts were on par with the ones I had in France, they were perfectly made! We will definitely order for events here again and we look forward to trying more of their yummy food!
