Hi. I've visited your restaurants in Aspen and NYC many times and the experience in Denver was a bit disappointing. Edemame seemed a little under steamed, rock shrimp (creamy spicy) was a little under cooked and had a very limey taste. Soft shell crab roll seemed dry chicken skewers were way over salted, udon soup was great. Maybe the kitchen was having an off night. IDK. Probably won't visit this location again.

The waiter was excellent. He gave us the best suggestion and the right amount to get for 5 people, especially when something is really good so we need two or more orders! The food is second to none. My one wine who does not normally eat fish, will at Matsuhisa. Every bite is delectable. My son's girlfriend took one bite of her toro sashimi and began crying because she couldn't believe how delicious it was! The cocktail drinks are just as amazing in taste and presentation, as the food!

David is amazing everything he picked was spot on. My national makeup artist was in from Chicago and has been to every Nobu in the country and this blew his mind. Over the top Experience.

Amazing experience on every level. If you ever have a special occasion, preserve the back room and create an omakase

Absolutely 5 stars.. just amazing, from start to finish, extremely friendly and professional staff, everything was on time, every dish was phenomenal, we ordered lamb chops we ordered sushi rolls, sake, edamame and more. Not one dish came out bad. This is on my top 5 restaurants hands down. Kim was assisting us, knowledgeable on everything on the menu, professional and friendly. All in all, this place is definitely worth the hype!

If it weren’t for the food, I would give one star. The food is outstanding but the service at the bar is really hit and miss depending on the bartenders moods. Multiple times they’ve told us they’re comping us something but they still leave the charge on the final bill and who has the energy to point out they charged you for things they said was on the house. It’s awkward. And there’s one bartender who always is grumpy and mopey, he needs to go. It’s an upscale restaurant with amazing food, the service needs to step it up with consistency and attitude.

First off, as expected the food was great! I would give it 5 stars if I was able to even enjoy it. So they let us book a 9:30pm reservation, when we sat down they told us the kitchen will close in 20 minutes? So they rushed the hell out of us and we had to quickly scarf our food down. This is a place where the average dine time is around 2 hours. So if you can’t serve food past 9:30 then don’t allow people to book a reservation at that time! This was for a 30th bday, so a VERY special occasion, and this was my very first time here. And unfortunately this just has to be my first time dining experience.UPDATE: they still have never even offered to remedy the situation. I will literally never be back.

We dined at Matsuhisa for our anniversary for the second year and we were mildly disappointed. Other than a perfunctory “happy anniversary”, there was no other acknowledgment like last year when we were greeted with a glass of champagne. Our server was personable, efficient and orchestrated a delicious chef's choice menu based on our tastes. The food was outstanding as always, however we got three dishes arriving at the same time. It was busy and seemed a bit rushed. For the price, everything should be flawless. But the food. . . Incredible!

I probably don’t even need to write this review because everything was amazing, and other reviews state this. Service was great from the hostess, to our waiter, to the sushi chefs. Dishes were amazing and we got great recommendations. 10000% will come back again!

The hands down best dining experience in Denver. Waiter David was phenomenal and customized an Omakase style dinner for us with all of our favorites. Ambiance 10/10, food is the best in the city and wait staff is wonderful. A must do if you’re in Denver and looking for an elevated dining experience.

David was a great server, will absolutely request him next time. This is truly the best sushi in Denver and we have tried every place worth going to in Denver. Nigiri was perfect, the miso anything was unreal, highly recommend
