Awesome food and friendly service. This is my favorite place for Ethiopian food. I have been coming here for over 25 years and always try to eat here when visiting Denver. Zewdie is always so gracious and generous, a true treasure. My favorite appetizer is the Azifa, tiny green lentils with hot peppers, lemon juice and spices. The lentil sambusa are also fantastic. You will enjoy her food.
This is some of the best Ethiopian I’ve had, and the owner is an exceptional chef and very kind. Highly highly recommend. But call ahead if you can, as she might be working alone.

We went with a group most of whom had never (myself included) eaten Ethiopian food. The restaurant is run by one woman. She is cook, server and host. We decided to order a vegetarian and a meat combo. As a group of eight we were barely able to finish the food. It was excellent food and an adventure to eat it.
