My fiancé and I went to Rioja last night for our anniversary. We made note on our res that we were there to celebrate and the servers were the best! They sent over an unexpected celebratory glass of champagne for the both of us. The service was 10/10, they had wonderful recommendations, kept the table clean from crumbs and dishes etc. Let's start with the drinks- I had the Pisco cocktail which was fun, it's on the sweeter side, if you like a sweet cocktail with mint and grapefruit, this is the drink for you. My partner got the Mediterranean olive oil cocktail - so fun and the presentation was beautiful. The food was unique and inspired. We ordered the set tasting menu, we loved everything we tried. Highly recommend the artichoke tortellini and the venison was cooked to perfection. The restaurant felt high end but not stuffy. Thank you for an awesome date night!!

Good cocktails but the vegetarian plate I got was not really worth it. The kimchi fried rice wasn't particularly good but the beets were pretty solid. The goat cheese tart was delicious and I would recommend.

The food was incredible and our server Jeremiah was amazing and very knowledgeable. Our absolute favorites were the pork belly, artichoke tortelloni, and short rib. I do not usually like pork at all and even I was loving it. Everything was delicious and Jeremiah made great recommendations! Service was amazing all around. I cannot recommend Rioja enough! We will definitely be back!

We had a fabulous dinner at Rioja— the service was excellent, the Rose was divine, and the menu was just the right amount and combination of things. I have four stars for the food mostly because I expected more. We had the shrimp pasta to start and the whole time I was eating it I felt like it just needed one more ingredient— it was crazy fishy and salty and because of this, the flavor profile felt pretty one dimensional. I’m not a chef but I am a foodie— my partner and I both agreed it could have used a splash of citrus or something bright to really bring it all together. Second course was the vegetarian four square— the beet ceviche was out of this world; the polenta was delicious; and other two dishes were good but not awesome. We had a salmon for the main which they lovingly split between two dishes— it was quite good and bright and light and I appreciate that they source their seafood from only the best places. The bread was all fantastic. I mean… give me sourdough and butter with salt ANY DAY. Our waiter was really great. We chatted a bunch and I felt really cared for by him and his colleagues. We would return but not before trying other places first.

Food was excellent, fresh and beautifully prepared. Had dinner at the bar because the dining room was full on a Tuesday night. Call for reservations if you can

The food is amazing one of the best meals I had in my life the server was ok with suggest a meal that went above in beyond expectation. What was lacking was the service server was bit a scattered brain and the other wait staff would ask if they anted something and never come back with it . Great food but someone need to figure out the small details here. If they want to be at the top of the list in Denver they should fix the small things

We went before the theater last night and had a lovely dinner. They have a really good vegetarian option called Four Square with 4 different dishes each in their own dish. Nice touch! I paired it with a glass of their by-the-glass Pinot Noir - it was really nice. Nice evening overall!

They cook their meat well. A popular restaurant, it can get pretty crowded and have large groups.

Have visited before. Outstanding once again. Food, Wine, Service, Ambience. Had a first time visitor with me so of couse we had to have the awesome Artichoke Tortelloni. Server recommended the pork chop. It was excellent. Had a bottle of Nascetta, and obscure wine from Italy. I actually knew it so I ordered it. Great to have a fun wine list!
