I don't usually write scathing reviews, but this really pissed me off. I've heard a lot of good things about the Turn, so my friend and I planned to visit the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. We were told there were no classes being offered, even though this wasn't advertised anywhere on their website or social media. We even double checked everywhere we could find after being turned away. The website SPECIFICALLY said there would be classes.Another guy that showed up was under the same impression as we were. To make matters worse, the people working at the check-in table were extremely pretentious and one was particularly rude, emphasizing that this secret special event was only for experienced dancers. How disappointing and discouraging to even think about trying to come back again.

This September will be our 22nd anniversary of starting Swing dancing. As a member of long standing, I had seen the club grew with memberships, changed from smaller venues to today’s large ballroom, from one DJ to a team of DJ.
