This hotel and restaurant/bar are the epitome of Denver history. When you walk into the lobby, you feel as if you’ve gone back 130 years. the hotel has hosted presidents from Taft to Regan and Clinton, and musicians that included the Beatles, Springsteen, and Taylor Swift. The Ship Tavern feels very classic and old-school. And the story of how it came to be in the 1930s is a great one. we were there on a Thursday night. I have come for years. It's my go to to have a great prime rib. My recent visit on 10/30/22 my dining experience lacked. No more bread present. French onion Soup came out warm. My baked potato was also warm that the butter didn't melt. What has happened?! Wait staff was great!

Brown Palace is like taking a trip back in time to a young Denver. The decor and ambiance are early 1900s feel. The service is excellent. The food is good. You will definitely enjoy the architecture.
